Forbidden is the second book of The Seeker Saga, full of breathless action, a chortling pace, and a thriving romance. Look for the next book of the series to be out in July 2012.
Hey! I'm Sarah Swan and I write lesbian romance novels (both historical and contemporary,) which focus on strong characters who often have to overcome challenging obstacles.
I love stories which have little twists and intriguing plots, but HEAs are always guaranteed in my novels.
A little about my life; I have no pets, but I do have three children who keep me very busy when I'm not writing. I was born in South Shields, UK, but I currently live in the Channel Islands.

Having the day off sick meant I was able to knock this over within a day. While the writing has not improved much, there is definitely more action in this one. Maybe too much. The group seem to go from disaster to disaster with barely an explanation in between.
It was nice to get a bit more of a look at some of the characters but they could have been developed a lot further. Overall, the story and concept is quite good, but it could've used more polish.
I've givent it 3 stars because I can't give it 2.5!
This one was more interesting than the first one. There's much more action and the plot is developing making the story better and better, I actually felt captivated at some points, but what's with the cliff hanger at the end? I am a bit frustrated now. Especially because when I looked for the third one I've discovered that it's never been published! What happened there? Is it ever going to get out? I hope it will because Sarah, you're on the right track.
Was left with so many cliff hangers! Wish author would have kept her word and finished the third book of the series in 2012. But now almost 6 years later I don't see it coming. A shame for I would have purchased it.
Tracy and the girls are deep into something they don't understand, searching for a solution to the riddle. And how does she tell the good guys from the bad ones? Intriguing.
I would say this book is much better than the first of the series and again I will look forward to reading the next one. I think it deserved a 4.5 star rating because of how original the plot line is and the great improvement from this one compared to the first. This book explores much more romance and was much more faster paced than the first novel, therefore keeping my attention glued to this book. We see character growth here and are introduced to a few new characters who know much more about the mysterious crystals than the girls. I also enjoy the fact that instead of hiding from her powers Tracy actually learns to embrace them and saves herself many times for doing so. Rob has a much larger role in this novel, instead of being portrayed as the typical jock/jerk type guy we actually see some depth and he is kind of like the knight in shining armor within every novel. Madison's story adds some more development as she becomes increasingly close to Tracy. I'm not quite sure what I felt about Liz. Her personality changes a lot and she is often butting heads with Tracy's plan but I look forward to see if her powers will develop in the following novels. Eve seemed like a very hardcore character in the novel who often sides with Tracy and seems much more independent than the other girls. Overall I hope the next book is even better than this one, o at least better than the first one ;)
I like the Seeker Saga so far. The second book, Forbidden is fast paced and full of excitement. However, I am missing the love part of the story, I would like to see more of a love story between Tracy and Rob. I did like the direction the story went, but would like to have a few more questions answered. The author explains the science behind the crystals, but not much of what they can do. And what about the triangle? That kinda got dropped from the equation. I also would have liked to see a little more resolve at the end. But all in all, I would recommend this saga, its a short read and full of action!
Very pleaded with this one! Much faster paced than the last. Quite a cliffhanger at the end. Waiting for the third! Curious to see what Tracy decides about the crystals. Bravo Miss Swan, you are doing quite well for such a young author! I'll be keeping my eye on your works in the future!
I liked the first book, so naturally I would read this one. This book is even better. At times there were pieces left out that made me wish there was more info. but i couldn't put it down and I look forward to book #3!
Bravo Sara - You made up for Chosen. Forbidden was full of action to the end. There were a few holes here and there but they are easily overlooked. Great read. Can't wait for the series to continue.
Really good book I hope I can find third book having problems finding. I will be very disappointed if the author decided not to right it and dropped it after reading the first two.
