Meet Dr. Ivan Rusilko: He’s a doctor at a world-class medical facility in Miami, he’s got a killer apartment on Miami Beach that overlooks Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, and he’s got a great group of friends and quite the social schedule. It’s a pretty damned charmed life, but something’s missing. He’d love a special someone to share it with—someone to laugh with, share his dreams with, and someone to just plain tickle his fancy. After a string of utterly forgettable blind dates and with no real prospects on the horizon, it’s time to take action. On the long drive from Miami Beach to Sarasota, Florida, for the annual Winemaker’s Dinner, Ivan makes a decision. He’s taking charge of his love life—and his fate.
RSVP is a short-story prequel to the highly anticipated erotic romance The Winemaker’s Dinner: Appetizers by co-authors Dr. Ivan Rusilko and Everly Drummond. RSVP is an introduction to the romantic hero and real-life author Dr. Ivan Rusilko, and it marks the good doctor’s solo writing debut.

"The best cosmetic procedure is adding a smile." - Dr Rusilko
WOW! All that from an outtake! What a great setup for the full release later this month!
In this we get to meet Dr. Ivan Rusilko, a doctor in Miami Beach specializing in women, in many different ways.
"I have the distinct privilege of being the physician who can make you look, feel great, and fuck like a superstar."
Smart, sexy, confident and looking for a connection we follow Ivan to the Annual Winemakers Dinner. In a few short pages we learn that beyond the sexy is a romantic heart.
"I wanted beyond anything to wake up more in love with someone than I'd been when I fell asleep, but not as in love as I'd be the next time I drifted off with her in my arms."
Within these pages I found myself laughing, gasping, biting my lip , smiling and sighing with my hand over my heart. Hot, funny, smexy and sweet This outtake delivers and give you a great tease of what is to come at the end of July.
OMG! What a great teaser! It's enough to get a sense of what the book will be like, and if you weren't already excited about reading The Winemaker's Dinner?!? This should do it. I recommend you read this short Outtake. It's erotic as hell, but then that's no surprise considering the author if you know what I mean...and I think you do :)
Sexy little introduction to the romantic Hero from The Winemaker's Dinner - Dr. Ivan. It's written in first person so you really get into Ivan's head and heart in this little nugget. Short, sweet and sexy as hell.

What did I think?
First of all....have you SEEN this author? Dr. Ivan?! If not, then take a few minutes to check out his blog photos. I'll wait........
I KNOW RIGHT?!?!
When I heard about this I was a little wary because...well...it just seemed too good to be true. So imagine my shock when this prequel was really good. I was totally surprised.
Now, please, don't get me wrong, I was only wary because most male authors are not this good looking and that practically sweat sex. I've seen cute guy authors, but after seeing this guy....no competition.
*pauses* *drools*
And yes...that is him on the cover.
Ahem....so on with the story.
Even though the main character (which is ultimately Ivan btw) is pretty conceited to me, it was really written well. I like hearing thing and reading them from a guy's POV but this....well...was a man's POV. I freaking l-0-v-e-d it. This book was extremely sexy and fun and it really made me want to buy the actual book.
Favorite Quote:
I wanted beyond anything to wake up more in love with someone than I'd been when I fell asleep, but not as in love as I'd be the next time I drifted off with her in my arms.
Holy smokes if these prequels are any indication of what THE WINEMAKER’S DINNER: APPETIZERS will be like, I am so in line to read this book! I am a self professed novella/short story hater, and well…I actually liked these!! BUT, it’s also knowing there is a full length novel on the way.
Now, while I enjoyed Jaden’s POV, I must say Dr. Ivan read a bit more smoothly for me. It was so easy to flow right along with this style. Not sure what the difference was, but there was a writing style ‘feel’ that was different than Jaden’s POV. I definitely felt the two distinct character differences just in the writing. There were a couple of times when parenthesis were used to show his inner ‘inner’ thoughts that did pull me out of his head slightly, but overall, I enjoyed this smooth read of TWD: RSVP. While Dr. Ivan makes a point to let us know he has been a ladies man, he doesn’t come across as arrogant. Which, would have turned me off right away. Instead, since this is his POV, we get to see he is actually hurt from a past love and is searching to recapture that type of relationship. A good looking, successful man seeking someone to challenge and love him? Yep, you know women will eat this up! AND to add to the intrigue, this book is co-written by the real like Dr. Ivan Rusilko and loosely based on his romantic life.
No need to ask what the dream cast of this book would look like. We get the real thing!
Absolutely LOVED this prequel short for The Winemaker's Feast series. Great way to not only introduce Dr.Ivan Rusilko and who he is, but perfectly set the stage for what was in store for readers. There was no doubt in my mind that this was a MUST read series and it left me anxiously awaiting the release of book one, "Appetizers". And, if I hadn't known, I would not have been able to tell you that this was Dr. Rusilko's debut as a writer of erotic romance. A five star rating system just isn't enough.
Wow...this short story was a perfect little tease and introduction to the series. It is just enough to pique your interest and want more! In RSVP we are introduced to Dr. Ivan Rusilko and a man who is capable of saying this:
"I have the distinct privilege of being the physician who can make you look, feel great, and fuck like a superstar."
WOW, what an incredible debut book! I love Ivan's style of writing and it definitely left me wanting more. I got to the last sentence of the last page and screamed "Noooo, you can't end now!" lol But luckily the wait is a short one!
This is a 21 Page Prequel to the Winemaker's Trilogy and it looks very promising. Can't wait to start reading the first book tonight. This is no fictional hero, Dr Ivan is a flesh-and-blood hottie en super smart guy.
Was pleasantly surprised how much this read as an autobiography. That means when the full Monty debuts soon, it should be very enticing indeed. Cannot wait !
In this Novella, we get to meet Dr. Ivan Rusilko, a doctor in Miami Beach. He works at a state of the art medical facility in a swanky hotel and has a killer apartment on the ocean. He describes himself unabashedly. “I have the distinct privilege of being the physician who can make you look, feel great, and fuck like a superstar.” Well hello…I was already sold. At first glimpse he’s smart, sexy, a bit cocky looking for an everlasting love. Okay too good to be true….right? We begin the journey as we follow Ivan to the Annual Winemakers Dinner in Sarasota, Fl. During the long car ride there, we get the first taste of his love of music and yes, we learn he has a flaw…..he can’t sing. Phew!! By this point, I was starting to think he was perfect!! In a few short pages, we learn that beyond the sexy and cocky young man is a romantic heart, an old soul and a man who’s quite the gentlemen. At the dinner, his heart stops when he sees a beautiful young woman sweeps past him at the reception. Love at first sight? Jaden, his soon to be love interest, is an up and coming chef in Miami who is a small town girl that is working to make it big. Their chemistry is instanteous and jumps off the page. I fell in love with them and they touched my heart. The sex is hot and very descriptive….is it getting not in here? I found myself laughing, gasping, sighing with my hand over my heart, biting my lip and yelling at my kindle. I’ve never experience so many emotions in such a short period of time with any other novel. He even texts his mom! How cute was that? I love the male POV in a dominantly female genre. We need more young men who can capture a young ladies heart with words and gestures. My favorite quote speaks to that soul. "I wanted beyond anything to wake up more in love with someone than I'd been when I fell asleep, but not as in love as I'd be the next time I drifted off with her in my arms."
Oh, my!! *fanning self* Move over Christian Grey and Gideon Cross! There's a new hero in town! If this prequel is any indication of what's to come in "The Winemaker's Dinner: Appetizers," then I am definitely up for the ride! The extremely handsome and sexy (in a very uninhibited way, as well as physically) doctor has lost love in a tragic sense, leaving him broken. Yet, he yearns to find that special someone that he will love more tomorrow than today. The fact that this prequel was in Dr. Rusilko's pov made it very endearing and exciting. I also like how he incorporates his love for music into the story and his emotions (music interwoven with a story is always the cherry on top for me). I am looking forward to July 31, for the debut of Dr. Ivan Rusilko's novel. Until then, I shall dream......
I am disappointed. From the beginning to the end to the beginning again, I am crushed. What started out as hope and an unending passionate love...ended in emptiness. I truly hope there is a better ending to this romance story than protect your ego because the woman you fell in love with makes a mistake. And a mistake that she did not make even unconsciously. Only, too late to make a change in what she thought of herself. OMG...What is love that does not go beyond self to understand and forgive? My bottom line requirement for reading romance is "happily ever after." Instead I am left with a broken heart too. After reading Entree, I need to refresh with RSVP. Still disappointed. I truly hope there is a better tomorrow for Jaden and Ivan.
This teaser for The Winemaker's Dinner is just that a teaser, it leaves you wanting more. Wanting to know more about Dr. Ivan and the woman that broke his heart, aswell as the stories of what's to come.
The story is from Ivan's point of view and his being the real inspiration for the character he has lent his name to in the book is a somewhat novel aspect to this genre. Drawing you into the tale as he bares his heart and soul for all to see.
Incredibly steamy short sex scene that leaves you wanting more. I was hooked from the opening line until the very last word. I cannot wait for The Winemaker's Dinner on the 31st of July.
I am so impressed with Ivan's writing! I get so wrapped up in his words...I feel like I'm actually sitting inside his thoughts just being a spectator! I can feel his love and emotions like it was right there on my sleeve! Like one of my friends said - it's like I can smell what he smells, tastes what he tastes, love how he loves!
Absolutely loved it! This was a perfect introduction for The Winemaker's Dinner! Dr. Ivan gives a wonderful character point of view and sets you up for a great book. I can't wait for the book to come out now! Great job!
After reading the out take No Reaervations also, I can't decide which point of view I like better. Excited for the book to finally be available to read!!! I'm from FL, so it is nice to read about home.
This is the 2nd prequel to the Winemaker's Dinner and we are introduced to Dr. Ivan Rusilko. A man who loves his job( but loves to have fun), loves his family(and misses them) and is drop dead gorgeous. This man wants to find love and from this short book it pack a big punch. Enjoy this book.
Wow, this an extremely short little book but it is definitely hot and steamy.
My reason for a 4 star rather than 5 was the very abrupt ending that left me hanging on mid air. Thankfully, I have the next short story available and downloaded in my e-reader, so won't have to wait long.
A short, naughty look into the mind of our hero! Here's to counting down the days until we get our hands on the The Winemaker's Dinner at the end of the month!
