Leído hasta el volumen 5. No sé, no me está convenciendo y quizá sea por el dibujo, que no me gusta. No creo que continúe, por lo menos con el manga, igual al anime le doy una oportunidad.

Volevo dargli un'altra prova e così ho fatto. I disegni migliorano un pò rispetto agli orrori del primo volume ma ancora ci sono delle imperfezioni. Per questo metto un quattro. I disegni in piccolo sono migliorati. Quelli non devono essere perfetti ovviamente. Dal numero uno sembrava che disegnasse prima il corpo e poi la testa. Diciamo che a volte ora mancano un pochino, ancora, le proporzioni. Oddio c'è chi disegna le gambe lunge ma qui si vede molto la mancanza delle proporzioni. Vedi Ryoko Ikeda o Leiji Matsumoto. Per la prima anche se alcune cose sono molto grandi rimane l'armoniosità del tratto che incanta e non te ne accorgi. Per il secondo è sempre al limite delle proporzioni e mai eccede. Un grande in arte. Questo ci porta hai disegni in grande appunto. Ci sono ancora grossi problemi con le mani. Sono mostruosamente enormi. Ok, in molti yaoi troviamo mani grandi ma qui sono proprio, scusatemi, brutte. E le gambe a volte sono strane. Vedi Misaki quando si mette le scarpe nella prima parte (JR 3).
Sapendo che i disegni miglioreranno comprerò il numero tre appena esce. Penso che non me ne pentirò. In fondo a suo tempo lessi Rave? Ricordate Rave della Star Comics? I primi volumi avevano i disegni davvero brutti ma poi migliorò e Hiro Mashima è uno dei miei autori preferiti.

I'm really focusing on the second couple here because wow, that was wonderful. It had everything I want from that kind of story: pining, misunderstandings, declarations of love, heartache and making up. I love this one a lot more than the first one, although that's okay, too, just not the reason I want to keep reading this.

Second book turned out to be even more entertaining the second-and as much as I love the 2 leads, it looks like the the supporting couple is stealing the show

egoist couple sucks. i hate them both with such extreme passion that it is almost overwhelming. after reading and watching junjou romantica in its entirety, i have never been able to get over egoist couple. every night both of those mutants appear in my dreams, throwing eggs and half empty ketchup bottles at me until i say they're the best couple in junjou romantica. other times ill be washing the dishes after dinner with my wife and i swear i can hear hirokis voice, him shouting "GET REAL!" whenever nowaki says something "perverted". its gotten worse over the past few months, when im driving and look in the rear view mirror i can see nowakis big blue orbs staring right into mine and his off putting grin. sometimes im convinced those 2D yaoi boys have somehow escaped their fictional reality and have chosen me to Haunt for their own amusement. i have to listen to " get over my ex girlfriend " subliminal and repeat " my ex is no longer a major part of my life " in order to stop the hallucinations and voices of them.

I think the plot for Egoist shows love at it's finest. Miscommunication, then Understanding... But above all, never-ending, undying love.
If you like Boys-Love Manga, this series is incredible.

Omg I loveeeeeed this so much!! The Usagi/Misaki stuff is usually my favorite, but the Egoist arc stole the show here. My feels!! I was so heartbroken for Hiro! Ugh, it was such a good few chapters! Sekaiichi has always been my favorite and the artwork is a bit lacking here, but the more I read of this, the more I love it. On to the next...

The story with Misaki and Usagi is only a third of the book, Misaki getting jealous and showing insecurities with the Usagi's editor, a beautiful hot looking female. Misaki always makes me laugh. The majority of the book this time is with Hiroki and Nowaki. The plot was thin, but eloquently drawn and emotionally portrayed.

Where do I begin? I suppose I should start by mentioning that the majority of this volume is given to Junjo Egoist. There were three chapters for that storyline as opposed to the 1.5 for Romantica. Since Egoist isn't my favorite story line I wasn't reading this volume nearly as enthusiastically as I did for volume 1.
These chapters have made me feel a lot more sympathetic toward Hiroki than I was before. Being privy to his inner thoughts has shown me just how deeply he cares about Nowaki and how absolutely in love he is with him (even if he does have a standoffish way of showing it). He must have felt incredibly confused and heartbroken when Nowaki left for a year "without saying a word." What were his nights like? What did he do when the sudden loneliness felt overwhelming? Everything he felt most likely hit harder since he doesn't like feeling like his emotions are getting the best of him. It was wrong for Nowaki to not contact him at least once while he was away. He had to have known that Hiroki missed him and was worried about him. Then, after returning and making love to him that evening he disappears the next morning again! I thought it was just for a day or two but apparently it was long enough for Hiroki to look for and change apartments. At this point, even I was mad at him, like, come on dude, seriously! What are you thinking about?! These two have been together for 6 years and still don't know how to communicate with each other. It's a good thing that their love for one another is stronger than even that huge barrier. Them moving in together was definitely a good move. At least now they will have a better understanding of what's going on in each other's life.
By this time, the events taking place in the Egoist storyline coincide with the events of the Romantica storyline. Misaki and Akihiko are either already living together or are about to. In Romantica, Misaki is coming to terms with his feelings for Akihiko. He knows that he feels something for him but he cannot or will not acknowledge those feelings as love. After becoming jealous of his relationship with his editor, Aikawa, Misaki can no longer deny it. The mini story at the end was hilarious. Akihiko saw through Misaki's claims about being his high school's strip Othello champ too quickly. Misaki, a ladies man?! Please, lol.

Yes, I definitely enjoyed this waaay more than the last volume. Mainly because I'm 100% bias over Egoist, loved them the first time I read this over a decade ago, still love them now. They comprise majority of this volume, so if you like this pair, this is the volume for you.
Six years have passed and yet it seems like the relationship between Hiroki and Nowaki's relationship is stagnant at best. Six years seems like a far stretch and not realistic at all in my opinion; you would think with all this time they'd fix their obvious miscommunication problems by now. Aside from Nowaki's school progression and Hiroki's career advancement, nothing seemed to change between these two and it would have been nice to get a glimpse of what the past 6 years were like for them aside from a quick flashback highlighting how their times together were cut short by their own uncontrolled circumstances. With the hopes of being a doctor and eventually being on the same social status level as Hiroki, Nowaki leaves to study abroad without Hiroki even knowing about it until a year later. Again.... seems.... rather a stretch. However, Hiroki definitely grew as a character compared to where we saw him last volume, and I loved how honest he was allowing himself to be. Instead of denying it, he's confronting them head on.
Miyagi is annoying asf, can't wait til I get to the Terrorist chapters.
Anyways, good volume was good. As much as I love Misaki, I could care less about Romantica. I can just live with the Egoist pair and be happy. Hopefully they come back again next volume.

Takahashi comienza a Sr un poco de celos gracias a ala aparición de Aikawa, pero esto le servirá para darse cuenta de sus sentimientos.
Me gusto mucho este tomo porque se enfocó en la pareja Junjo Egoist, son un par de bobos que sufrieron por sus decisiones y por su falta de claridad ir po juntos, pero me alegra ver que al final son capaces de hablar seriamente sobre su relación y logran reconciliarse

I haven't been this excited about a manga series in a very long time. About three storylines are happening at once, and each pairing is unique and exciting. Each pairing will bring you tears of sorrow and joy at some point during the reading adventure. Something I did not expect was how much I enjoyed the art in this manga. The panels were all very well utilized; the story moves in a gentle flow that keeps you floating through the pages until you hit the end!

Soy la primera en saber que no estoy leyendo en el orden correcto, sobre todo porque aún no tengo el primer tomo.
Pero la historia en sí ya la conozco por el anime, el cuál es fiel al manga.
Lo que si me di cuenta, es que la autora de repente dibujaba con las proporciones incorrectas el cuerpo.
De la nada, se ven las manos más grandes cuando el ángulo no era el indicado, haciendo que el dibujo se viera extraño.
Pero la historia en sí ya la conozco por el anime, el cuál es fiel al manga.

Still not liking that much the way they drew the characters’ body but the story catches your attention so well I just read it in a row. The comedy and the romance are so well developed that I got too much feelings. Some characters are relatable since they show a daily life of them (and I could felt it with Misaki and Miyagi). Highly recommended if you need something romantic and entertaining.

La verdad ya no sé para donde podría ir la historia con Hiro-san y Nowaki después de esto. Ya parecen una pareja consolidada así que, ¿qué otro drama podría haber? Es el tomo dos y siento que podría dejarlo de leer y no sentiría inconcluso el "desarrollo" de esta pareja.
Con Usagi y Misaki no pasó mucho, nada más Misaki confeso amar a Usagi y ya jajaja. :p

I know im somewhat in the minority for disliking egoist but it really is just too boring for what i really look for in a yaoi, i see myself skimming throigh their parts and that kinda sucks, maybe one day I'll like them but idk, romantica has always been a fav which i know isnt saying much since they're our mcs

Junjo romántica es y será siempre mi historia de comfort<3 y ptm la escena de la biblioteca la tengo grabada en el cerebro desde que la ví en el anime hace años. Revisitar el amor de Nowaki y Hiroki siempre me deja el corazón calientito. Amo amo amo, 5/5⭐

En realidad 4.5 🥴 la historia me pareció interesante en algunos aspectos, es una historia muy linda, mi parte favorita es la de Junjo egoist, siento que esas partes son taaaan hermosas
