- Taupymas yra kur kas svarbiau, nei idealus ETF'as; - Pasiskaičiuoti pagal formulę, kiek reikės pinigų (prieš tai nusistačius investavimo tikslą, tarkim, pensiją); - Pirkti tik pasyvius ir diversifikuotus, pigius mokesčius taikančius ETF'us; - Asset allocation (jau ne pirma knyga, kuri rašo apie tai, kad nereikia turėti 100% akcijose, tad gal verta susimąstyti); - KOMISINIAI! Very good investment book that is both interesting to new & existing innvestors alike, certainly written for people in mind without much experience or financial degree. It needs to be considered that about 30% of the book only applies to the US (taxes, college fundihg, insurances). These chapters can be skipped if you don't live there. The rest is nevertheless solid advice.
A must read in my opinion. Well written and very easy to understand. I’ve read it numerous times and have given copies to my kids as they became adults and started their careers. Start investing as young as you can to take advantage of the magic of compounding interest. I’m turning 60 and speak from the experience of having done it. You wont regret it!
This is an immensely helpful resource for beginner investors like myself. It lays the groundwork for effective investing, answering many questions besides "How do I pick the next hot stock?", including questions I had never considered before.
Concepts like asset allocation, effectively managing tax burdens, and rebalancing are explored in detail. Thankfully enough, the book makes it easy to understand. This is because each chapter is structured in an easy-to-follow way.
Broadly, each chapter gives you: - a summary of the concept - extensive evidence supporting their claim (including studies and data tables) - how to put the concept into practice
For anyone looking to begin their investment journey, I believe this book will set a great foundation for you.
Informative read that breaks down John’s Bogles principles of investing. Keep it sample and know your risk tolerance. Book does a great job breaking down various investment vehicles and explains them simply
This is an excellent book for beginning investors, with very useful information for people already investing. I like that the authors provide pros and cons for the various options, which should help people in their investing decisions. Highly recommended.
I love this book and will definitely return to it later on in life. It covers every topic that I've been wanting to learn about in brief but essential detail. Favourite quote: "Investing shouldn't be exciting. Go and be excited about your career, family, and hobbies instead."
