The blurb at the beginning doesn't seem to fit the book. It's for the next book in the series. This one also mentioned a doctor instead of KNK, so I'm not sure why it's in this series. The misspelling of mfc's name in chapter 1 is off-putting. I hate cliffhangers.

Cliffhanger!
You only get half a story. I really hate purchasing a book and not being warned it’s a cliffhanger. Somewhere in the synopsis it should say that and not try to trick you into purchasing other books. The story had potential but as it’s a cliffhanger I cannot comment on how well it would have been as I will have to read another book to find out. I will probably never know how it ended, although I enjoyed the writers style I can’t say I will read another book unless it’s free.

This is Lauren and Salt’s story. Lauren is attracted to bad boys, and she and Salt meet at an exclusive VIP club.
This is an enjoyable story which is an emotionally charged quick read, with danger, suspense, intrigue, challenges, twists, and love, which leads to a steamy page turner, which ends in a cliffhanger.
I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.

if I could give this book a 0 star I would!
What the actual heck do you think you are doing. I can tell you I will aNEVER read another book by this author. This is a multi author book that not one other author left a book unfinished to draw you to other books. This tactic STINKS and is underhanded and dirty.

What the heck !!!!!?!!! This ended with a CLIFHANGER ??? No heads up was given in the synopsis. I was truly disappointed at the ending. Was this some trick to get us to buy more books? Thanks for the heads up (not) and I don't think I'll read any more of Jade Royal's books.

This book ignited my senses and gives an electrifying story of irresistible allure.
From the beginning of the book, I was captivated by the magnetic pull between Lauren and Salt. Lauren, with her penchant for bad boys and need for domination, she's drawn to the enigmatic and dangerous Salt, a man deeply entrenched in the unforgiving world of organized crime with the need to dominate.
One of the standout elements of this book is its ability to pack an emotional punch in a relatively short read. The author masterfully weaves together themes of love, danger, suspense, intrigue, and challenges, creating a story that kept me on the edge of my seat.
The fusion of BDSM and organized crime elements I thoroughly enjoyed.
The pacing of the book is brisk, making it a quick and engaging read. Each chapter is a new revelation, that had me eagerly flipping the pages.
However, it's worth noting that this book ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the story incomplete in a way. I want more of Lauren and Salt.
