not too bad, but the big reveal at the very end was pretty obvious...i got the first three books on amazon free for the kindle, and they were pretty good for free books...i would recommend checking them out if you are in the mood for a quick light supernatural read...

Now the third book lets us see more into the overall conspiracy going on, and the plot against the Howard siblings. I like how each book introduces different supernatural creatures and the problems they cause. I think what I imagined mermaids to be like was represented correctly as well as all the other supernatural creatures that the Howards encounter.

Volumes 1-3

I chose a 4 star rating because the books captivated me. I u.understood braking up the books the way it was done. it helped understand each character. I was so captivated that I couldn't put the each book down until the end. I can't way till the next book comes out to see how things play out. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys this type of characters.

Great read!

I love that I found these books. I can only hope the next book is not the last one in the series. Start from the beginning, filled with mystery, romance, and the paranormal.

Nice series of books so far. Characters can be a bit one-dimensional at times but I'm getting to like them more the further I get into the series. I will definitely keep reading this series.
