not too bad, but the big reveal at the very end was pretty obvious...i got the first three books on amazon free for the kindle, and they were pretty good for free books...i would recommend checking them out if you are in the mood for a quick light supernatural read...

Now the third book lets us see more into the overall conspiracy going on, and the plot against the Howard siblings. I like how each book introduces different supernatural creatures and the problems they cause. I think what I imagined mermaids to be like was represented correctly as well as all the other supernatural creatures that the Howards encounter.

This was a short one but still very good. The main characters are likeable. The book starts right where the last one ended and it is a smooth transition. I like the way that an entire story is told within a volume of the series while still leaving larger parts of the story untold so you want to continue.

I chose a 4 star rating because the books captivated me. I u.understood braking up the books the way it was done. it helped understand each character. I was so captivated that I couldn't put the each book down until the end. I can't way till the next book comes out to see how things play out. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys this type of characters.

It is cool that there are merladies.
