You met Kirby, Kristin Prescott’s ballbusting twin, in “Double the Pleasure.” Now Kirby has her own sensual and erotic story to tell in “Skin Deep.”

Kirby Prescott is a woman in control of her life. She owns a thriving company, has her pick of gorgeous escorts, and no one to tell her what to do. And she has Jack Taylor, a man she’s never met but who knows her more intimately than almost anyone. Only a phone call away, Jack feeds her deepest desires with hot phone sex. Afterward, all she has to do is hang up. No fuss, no mess, no entanglements. Just the way Kirby likes it.

Jack Taylor isn’t staying long distance anymore. He knows what he wants, and he plans on showing Kirby that having him in her life doesn’t mean giving up her independence. Turning a simple business trip into a sensual journey, Jack is determined to win her over, body and soul.

Will taking the long distance out of their relationship ruin the perfect thing they had going?

This book was a lovely surprise. It has emotionial depth without angst mixed in with playful erotic twists.

I loved the hero who is not a fantasy of the physically perfect but who is confident and attuned to the heroine.

The heroine is guarded and fierce. The hero loves her and goes all out. There is a great little aside about the importance of matter of matching sex drives I valued. I also valued the lack of the hero being a man whore (he has plenty of talent in bed and a sexy voice) and the sexual assuredness of the heroin.

The turn of the book is when the heroine sees herself anew and changes to be open to love.

This is a fast paced sexy as hell romance that makes you want this couple to find happiness.

Flaming hot story, lol. Kirby is 100% dominant in all areas of her life, very independent and is in love with Mr. Perfect so she doesn't need the drama of a relationship. Beyond all the sexy times, Kirby and Jack very much alike personality wise and their tug of war made me chuckle. It will take a strong man to handle Kirby in and out of the bedroom and Jack is all in.

It's very rare that I don't like the heroine in a romance, but this one deserves an award for behaving like a petulant child while being a grown woman and boss of her own company. Combine that with a non-consent rapey bedroom scene, and I would like to give zero stars. I really wanted to like this novel, because how often do we get a balding, shorter-than-the-heroine sexy romantic hero?

I loved this his book. Is Kirby too picky? She’s gotten to know Jack really well through sexy calls on the phone. What happens when they actually meet? I did feel a bit of heartbreak, but no worries, there’s a very happy ever after. I highly recommend this book.
