So after reading Love Immortal, I was really really excited about this one. I always check for its author's update regarding this book and after I saw the paperback version of this novel, I immediately grab it tightly and read it the same day.
The story is about a mortal girl who entered the world of vampires accidentally. She met Red (because literally, he has a red hair which grew redder when he's angry) the one-third mortal, one-third vampire and a one-third werewolf. They were like childhood sweethearts but then because of the prophecy about the war between the different bloods and race, were torn apart. Want a spoiler? I'll give you a hint...
OF COURSE, THERE'S A HAPPY ENDING! :)
Miruna's attitude captivated me all through out the book. She was not your typical heroine. She's a very talkative one yet very honest and straightforward.
I also fell in love immediately to Red. His thoughtfulness and protectiveness to Una melted my heart and at the same time, torn me apart. Torn me apart because I can't find someone like him in the real world! lol.
The plot was what I wanted to read in a gothic novel. More mature, intense and dramatic dialogues. I enjoyed the thrilling ride brought about by the author's imaginative world of immortals especially when the vampires were being consumed with passion and why some of them become silver bloods.
The story was very satisfying so I gave it five stars though I'm still hoping for another sequel which I hope to be about Sidney.
