Craig Maxwell is trying to move beyond a past riddled with tragedy, addiction, and remorse when he almost loses his life in the line of duty. His victim, Ava, may see him as a hero, but he knows there’s a devil lurking inside his soul, and that devil is looking to corrupt a certain dark-haired angel. When Ava Mason tries to show her appreciation to the sexy firefighter that saved her dog’s life, he’s rude and abrupt, insisting he was only doing his job. Instead of accepting his rebuttal, she decides to remind him that men who play with fire run the risk of getting burned.
I have always been passionate about books, but it wasn't until several years ago that I decided to quit my day job to follow my bliss. Since then I have written eight book under two pen names, all have the requisite HEA endings, but some are just a little naughtier than others.
I'm obsessed with writing. In fact, being handcuffed to my keyboard sounds like fun. Did I mention the fact that I write erotic romance? Enough said. When I do take a break, it's to spend time with the two, that's right, two men in my life... my husband and son.
I was glad that Craig maned up in this novel. It took some guts but he did it. A few scenes like the drug scene made my stomach twirl but other than that I enjoyed reading it.
