All she wanted was to live her own life…

(addition to review: Please be careful which editions you purchase. There is 1 Airel book and 1 Michael book that have both part 1&2 (A) and part 3&4 (M). There is only 1 Uriel, so no worries there.)

This series is absolutely not anything I imagined it would be - It is more!! Oh so much more!! While this series does start off as a YA book with Airel, it very quickly sucks you in and before you know it, you are living the lives of (& with) Airel, Kim, Michael, Kreios and Ellie and the rest, and it has become way more than your typical YA series. But what a life! I do have to say, in my review of Airel I had said the following "...I was a little leery about the part that says "..it takes a miracle for that same male, or in this case males, to write a novel from the POV of a teenage girl...". ...", but now after having finished Michael and Uriel, I like the difference it makes. Between seeing this from a male perspective and what Airel becomes (no spoilers here!), her decisions and thoughts, take on a whole new meaning. I love these books more than I thought I would. They are definitely books that I will read over and over and over again!! Bottom line: I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD GIVE THIS SERIES A READ!!! IF YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO LOVES PARANORMALS/ANGELS/CHARACTERS YOU CAN RELATE TO AND STORIES YOU CAN GET LOST IN, THEN THIS IS THE SERIES FOR YOU!!!

Aaron Patterson and Chris White have done it again. I simply love these books. The characters evolve so smoothly. I never feel forced into believing the characters are real the actions leave me holding on wondering about their motivation and leaving mystery in each characters decisions.

This book made me so angry. I have been very loyal in downloading each new book in the series as they came out, and it left me wanting more, feeling very impatient for the next release.

The plot twists have left me wondering about what is around the corner and really adoring how the plot brings in Biblical History supporting the character's ages, motivations, and rethinking concept I thought I thought I knew.

I really enjoyed the series from the very beginning. I have to say that I didn't see the ending at all, though I should have, I still didn't. Definitely have a new author to follow and get more books from

Not bad, it was interesting and sucked me in to buy the next book but I could tell I was starting to lose steam on the book series. The draw is the bad boy that wants to be good and the sense of dread thinking it may not work but there are possibilities. But it doesn't give you any hope in the book towards the end.

It was way too short. I feel like nothing really happened, and I'm just kinda left wondering what was going on. I really like this series and waited and waited for this book, I just feel like it wasn't worth my wait.

A great, engaging idea but so poorly written it's hard to believe it was edited. Also super annoying is that the title is split into two separate books, so it just ended in the middle of the story. Cheap marketing ploy that almost makes me want to rate it down a star.

Does this mean there's a book 4? The story ended up with Airel's life energy being sucked by Valac (posing as Dirk).... What really happened to Uriel and her son Qiel? Who's the new host for bloodstone? I'm getting a bit confused...

I was definitely surprised by some stuff in this book, but I enjoyed it as much as the previous books in this series.
