This is book two in this amazing mafia romance series that also ends in another cliffhanger. I enjoy the characters as well as dual points of view. I can’t wait for the conclusion. Lots that kept me reading. *I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.

Second book in this series and it lived up to the first, fast paced, full of dastardly deeds, lies, Mia truths, double crossing and double dealing, how can anyone know who to trust, or believe. Daemon doesn’t believe he has a heart so how can he think Elisa could actually have true feelings for him. Elisa has grown up being badly treated by her father, how could she think that Daemon could treat her any better, but she wants to! This is like Romeo and Juliet in steroids with warring gangster families trying to stay one step ahead of their foes, I can’t wait for the next book in this series, I received this as an ARC

OMG!!!!!! What a fantastic on the edge of your seat dark twisted intense action packed rollercoaster ride, full of emotional turmoil, abuse, deceit, lies, secrets, danger, violence, manipulation, steam, twist you never saw coming.
Elisa La Rosa has been terrified, abused by her father Alexander being born into a crime family she can't get out of he gave her up Daemon Petrov after marrying his mother Lillian to spy on, when he returns her to him he's enraged at her.
Daemon Petrov & brothers Mikel, Dezzy & Vin are worried that Alexander La Rosa is causing all the problems for them wanting to take over even brought Ragno LA Rosa an assassin to town & Elisa thinks he's there to take Daemon out.
Elisa goes back to work at lawyers firm her father asks her to get a file on Daemon when she doesn't he sends Ragno to get it but she gets it before him he goes after her to take her to Alexander to deal with her.
I definitely recommend to get this extremely well written Dark Mafia Romance you can't put down will Daemon & Elisa ever get their HEA especially when he finds out she has his file, is she on his side or her father's side it's a must read you can't put down.
I definitely need book 3 in this amazing series after that shocking cliffhanger need to know what's going to happen to Elisa & Daemon.

This is book two of this series, told in dual first person POV and leaves you on a cliffhanger. You cannot read this book as a standalone, it picks up where book one left off. This is a dark romance and not intended for the faint of heart.
Daemon is slowly stealing my heart. I still want to hate him when he lets his jerk side out towards Elisa at times. As I’m getting to dive deeper into his thoughts, I can understand why he is being the way he is. I like Elisa in the first book, and I still like her in this book. I still don’t like that she is letting her fear rule her but I am starting to see her tough side come out, I’m hoping in this next book she fully embraces her tough side and becomes the person I know she truly is.
There is a new soldier in Daemon’s crew and I’m on the fence with her. I want to love her because she is everything I love about a female character, but I still have a pit in my stomach that she will disappoint me. Things are definitely heating up in the plot department and I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see how it unfolds and get some answers on the reasons to certain actions. I cannot wait for the next book to come out!

This is book 2 in this dark romance series, and ends on a cliffhanger.
Like her Daemon and her brother's, Elisa was born into a crime family. She is terrified of her father and knows that being his daughter will not save her from being killed, he would kill her himself, so when he tells her to get any and all information on a business that Daemon is involved in....
She has a love hate relationship with Daemon, and has spent 5 years with him. He has shown her that pain can also bring pleasure, unfortunately for her, he does not trust her. We get more insite into both of their lives in this book, and like before get both of their pov. She still lets her fear rule her actions, but has shown that she has a tuff side to her, which hopefully will come out full force in book 3, Daemon is growing on me, but is still hard to like, hopefully this will change more in the next book as well.
I highly recommend this series, if you like dark romance, and cliffhangers then you will enjoy it.

This is an amazing mafia series that just seems to improve with each book, but be warned it's not a sweet love story nor is it for the faint of heart as it tells what happens when two long-standing waring mafia families decide that the way to stop the war is to unite by marriage. A marriage is then proposed between Elisa and Daemon but are they destined to find love or is it just a sinister plan?
Their story continues in this second book, but it does not conclude so we need to wait for the next book. I for one can't wait!
The characters are well-drawn and intriguing, Daemon's likeable one minute but then he'll do something and then you can’t stand him. Elisa is likeable and deserves someone who will appreciate her but she needs to stand up for herself as no one else seems to be doing it. They do, however, have amazing chemistry on their side.
This story kept me at the edge of my seat from beginning to end, I can't wait to find out how it's going to play out. A good second instalment.

WOW! This series is so good
This is one heck of a dark romance. Daemon is an anti-hero to the max. You aren't sure if you want to root for him or not. Elisa is tortured physically and mentally by her father and his horrific nephew. But Daemon is there to protect her.
I'm torn about their relationship. He's awful to her, but it seems to turn her on. Then he's kind to her, and that makes her heart flip. You have to feel awful for Elisa. The girl is smart, but keeps getting herself into positions that cause her nothing but pain.
The next book looks like it will be Daemon and Elisa against the Mafia World. Because they may be the only people they can trust. I needed a day to decompress from this book. Nicole has a winning series here . . .

Can Elisa show Daemon that she isn't working for her family and that he can trust her whilst trying to stay away from her father and his abuse.
Daemon has feelings for Elisa but fights them at every turn and trusting her isn't easy especially as things are not going well for the family business.

Nicole York has done a great job with this well written dark mafia world. I kept turning the pages into the night. This has plenty of twists, turns, betrayal, intrigue and suspense. Definitely awaiting the next installment. This is a 5 star read.

This book picks up where the first book left off. The author once again brings strong characters and weaves a dark and steamy romance which is told in the dual POV. She does a great job building the story and kept me on the edge waiting for answers as things heat up. It's well written with descriptive scenes, moves fluidly and is a great read. I'm looking forward to the next book.

This is book #2 of the Dancing With the Devil series. It’s a dark mafia romance that picks up where the first book left off. It’s a very well written story and has an interesting plot. Elisa’s life has been so heartbreaking. Her father is physically and emotionally abusive and Daemon can be unkind, as well. The book ends with a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to read the next book. *this was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*

This is the 2nd book in this author’s Dancing With the Devil Series. The story revolves around Elisa and Daemon both young kids who have been raised by non-nonsense, far too serious, passing abuse for parents. Elisa and Daemon have been on the receiving end more than a few times. Elisa’s father is abusive and Daemon’s father is dead by Daemon’s hand as the only way to make it stop and now Daemon is a young mafia lord. Love the suspense, a good read. Waiting for the next.

If you’re looking for suspense, drama dark romance then this series is for you. This book will leave you with a cliff hanger and is not intended to be read as a stand alone. Daemon and Elisa both come from difficult pasts. Elisa is hesitant to trust Daemon and his vulnerable side and weary of his dark side. This series has kept me on my toes.

High intensity, can’t put down, dangerous, spicy forbidden romance. It delivers exactly what this genre promises but the line between dark romance and outright romanticizing abuse gets blurry and while it’s supposed to be fantasy I still can’t fully get behind that. That said… I’m also not going to pretend I didn’t enjoy it or that I won’t read the next installment 💀

Again, Daemon and Elisa's characters will take your heart along for a "wild" ride and keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
It sure kept me turning pages to see how everything would turn out.

This story is a dark Mafia romance. Elisa is tasked with getting information on Daemon's business. If she fails, her father will kill her. She is in a no win situation. Daemon loves her but does not trust her. You will have to read the book to see what happens with these two characters.

This story picks up where we were left off and the roller coaster ride is far from over! Eliza and Daemon have more hurt and betrayal coming their way from their families but they will remain strong in face of the adversity. Can't wait to see where this ride is going to take us.

This is an amazing story! Daemon and Elisa have a love hate relationship one in which he can't trust her because she has shown her hand when it comes to her family. She is caught in the middle being born into a mafia family with a ruthless father she has no choice of complying with her father wishes because if she doesn't it is eminent death. She has feelings for her husband as well will they resolve their issues and get their chance for happiness. I can't wait for the next book to see how it ends for Daemon and Elisa.
