What a terrific haunting tale! I was totally taken away by this book the main character Claire was truly put in some horrific positions and I felt for her. Evie was so wronged! I was so angry in parts of this book I wanted to scream out loud. It is a story I won't soon forget. I look forward to finding more by Claire Simons as I enjoyed her writing.

A well written, fast paced historical-contemporary about two woman, each in their own time in history, trying to free themselves of a possessive partner. Some paranormal elements. Couldn't put it down. Highly recommended.

Good work with a very difficult technique. Lost the thread a couple times, but with a satisfying ending it all worked out.
