She has worked picking raspberries, as general manager of a software company, cleaning motel rooms and houses, in fast food, in sales, as a psychic and shamanic healer, in corporate marketing, and as a bookkeeper, order processing/shipping clerk, English tutor, research assistant, data entry clerk, secretary, receptionist, temp, book buyer, fundraiser, and teacher. She resides in Seattle with three cats and an ex-bear.
