Great reference book in horse racing history. Set in a style that allows you to flip back & forth & read about one without losing sight of where you are, it makes for easy reading.
Tremendous amounts of research, with lots here to learn and enjoy. So many racehorses from my childhood to remember. The writing in spots could be more clear, but learning about Potoooooooo at the very end was the crowning bit of fun.
