I do not give books of the Bible star ratings.

For the second year in a row I'm reading the Bible in Chronological order. Last year I read the NLT version, this year I have elected to read the NKJV version, which might be my favorite Bible translation to date, and I've read twelve different ones!

While I do have a physical copy of the bible, I am listening to it via the Youversion app with the wonderful Tinasha LaRayé as the narrator. She has an absolute beautiful voice and has really enriched the experience so far!

2 Samuel chronicled David's reign as King over Israel and Judah. His triumphs and downfall, most of the challenges came from his own household with one of his son's raping his daughter and ended up being killed by his brother. David's own son Absolom tried to dethrone him. Very dramatic and entertaining plus it is the WORD OF GOD.
