Zohar. La luce della Kabbalah

Lo Zohar (Libro dello Splendore) è una fonte senza tempo di saggezza ed è la base della letteratura kabbalistica. Fin dalla sua comparsa, circa duemila anni fa, è stata la fonte primaria, e spesso l'unica, usata dai kabbalisti. Per secoli la Kabbalah è rimasta nascosta al grande pubblico, che si riteneva non fosse pronto per riceverla. Tuttavia, la nostra generazione è stata designata dai kabbalisti come la prima pronta ad acquisire i concetti contenuti nello Zohar.

Scritto con un linguaggio unico e metaforico, lo Zohar arricchisce la nostra conoscenza della realtà ed espande la nostra visione del mondo, ma non va letto in modo classico. Bisogna leggere e riflettere pazientemente e ripetutamente su ogni frase, per cercare di penetrarne il pensiero, per estrarne tutte le sfumature.

Anche se il testo ha un unico soggetto, la relazione con il Creatore, l'approccio ha varie angolature. Questo consente a ciascuno di trovare quella particolare frase o parola che aiuta a comprendere questa saggezza così profonda ed eterna.

Il professor Michael Laitman prosegue la divulgazione della saggezza della Kabbalah, proponendo qui la sua traduzione e il commento a estratti dello Zohar e del Commentario allo stesso di Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag. Il suo lavoro ha il grande merito di liberare lo studio dello Zohar da qualsiasi tentativo di ridurne il senso storico e spirituale profondo e di restituirlo nella sua effettiva complessità.

The Zohar is unlike other books. It’s meaning cannot be penetrated by merely reading it. And yet it contains all the wisdom and glory of Creation. In our present time we are most fortunate to have Rav Michael Laitman open the mystery of how to use this book. He is doing so with live lessons on the internet. By itself the Zohar is at best a curiosity. But combine this book with a teacher who truly understands it and then the Zohar is Life itself.

Wonderful. Really complicated but so deep. Surprisingly it explains the Christianity also very well. There are some aspects that fit well with latest physic discoveries. For me, a great book. Very cryptic but Laitman explains it like a scientist.

Very dense! missing index and a structured glossary, 'Advanced' stuff! Start with, The Way of Kabbalah By Z'Ev Ben Shimon Halevi which is alot more grounded and leads nicely into this tome.
