[This review applies to chapters 1 to 22/ vol 1 to 6; spoilers are tagged]
Story:
Nagareboshi Lens adds a fresh taste to the shoujo slice of life genre. The light atmosphere of each chapter leaves the reader with a heartwarming feeling. It's hard to dislike a majority of the characters with them extending beyond being cool or hyper or flirty.
You can criticize Nagareboshi Len for it's pacing. I think the pace, in the beginning, was fine but hit a slump towards the middle before returning to a stable pace. It feels as if there's no progression between Touga and Risa at times, but really we are just watching them slowly learn each other.
Something I really like about this manga is how some chapters are from Touga's point of view. I like seeing how he thinks and reacts too. I immensely enjoy how there is little to no misunderstandings here because characters speak up! Gosh, you don't know how thankful I am to not have to go through twenty chapter arcs of a misinterpreted situation.
Another pleasant surprise, the pseudo-love rival is a

Risa the main character is a sweetie. She is a cute girl who wears bows and doesn't want to hurt anyone. She doesn't like confrontation and needs to be more aggressive. Risa's dialogue and some of the things she does are cringeworthy, but there are worst chicks in shoujo. Risa is relatively a good character. I just roll my eyes whenever she beats herself up for keeping Touga from his fans,"When I'm happy with Yuugure-kun (Touga), no one else is happy." *roll eyes* I would like to see more personality from her beyond crying and happiness, but I'm not annoyed with her yet.
Touga is my favorite character thus far. He's likable with his way of reading Risa instantly and his laid back personality. He calls his teacher by his first name, breaks the so-called rule of hanging out on the balcony, and speaks his feelings clearly. He's the type of guy you'd want as a friend. His crew of friends is just as lovable as him.
Hachino, I will mention because he's the next interesting character after Touga. The mind games he played in his debut were very entertaining, and his well-deserved comeuppance appeared in the form of an annoying motormouth. Hachino hates Touga much like a scorned lover. I know there has to be more to that than what's been seen so far.
Yuudai is such a fun but minor character. Touga doesn't see him as a serious threat but a friend. I want to see more of this guy.
Relationship:
Touga and Risa's relationship is very sweet and they both understand each other well. They always try to put the other's interests and needs before their own. I keep forgetting that they are only fourteen because they are so mature. I wish the kiss scenes were a bit more emphasized, but I can't fault the love itself.
Art:
The artwork is beautiful until close-ups when excessive screen tones make the eyes seem creepy. In funny moments, the art has its own charismatic charm.
Overall:
Well worth a read if you don't mind a plot not going anywhere for a while and want something pure.

Buon pomeriggio entucci ebbene si finalmente oggi è uscito l'attesisimo manga di Mayu Murata - Shooting Star Lens, pubblicato in Giappone nel 2010 sul magazine Ribon della casa editrice Shueishauno, pubblicato in italia grazie alla Star Comic. E' un opera originale di genere shoujo che comprende ben 10 volumi.
Letto in meno di un ora questo bellissimo manga è capace di farci rivivere i nostri primi batticuori, quell'amore che aspetti da tanto ma che sembra non voler mai arrivare e invece eccolo li... proprio dietro l'angolo.
Tutto ha inizio da un incidente avvenuto casualmente nel liceo di Risa. Un giorno mentre passeggiava per i corridoi della sua scuola, assorta nei suoi pensieri, una palla viene lanciata su un finestra mandandola in frantumi. Il caso vuole che lei si trovi proprio li difronte ad essa, per fortuna non le accade nulla, anzi, qualcosa succede, per la prima volta in vita sua nota Yugure Toga ragazzo del suo stesso liceo molto affascinante e "risplendente" (Capirete il perchè solo leggendo il manga), responsabile insieme ai suoi amici e al preside per quello che è appena accaduto. Il ragazzo le chiede scusa e lei rimane folgorata da lui. Una sera i due si incrociano per strada ed entrambi si recano a scuola. Come può un ragazzo del suo calibro rivolgerle la parola?
Lei: inesperta e schiva, lui: bello e popolare. Due mondi lontani che il destino fa incontrare, in un appuntamento notturno tra i corridoi della scuola; che faranno da spettatori del terremoto di emozioni che Risa riconoscerà come il suo primo grande Amore.
Ci troviamo davanti una storia d'amore nata trai banchi di scuola tra la giovane ed innocente fancciulla e il teppistello di bell'aspetto. Una lettura molto divertente, e piacevole. Senza alcun impegno che riempie le tue giornate facendo riaffiorare i ricordi del passato hai tempi della scuola. Disegni fantastici fatti bene con uno stile differente dagli altri manga che ho letto fino ad ora. Ricchi di particolari, per non parlare degli occhi dei protagonisti che sprizzano emozioni da ogni angolo.
Ammetto che dopo aver letto il manga sono andata alla ricerca di qualche info in più su di esso è indovinate un pò ho trovato l'OAV dal nome un po bizzarro Nagareboshi Lens in giapponese sottotitolato in Italiano che riprende il primo volume della saga. La cosa bella e che la differenza tra manga e Oav - parlo dei disegni - è veramente minima, sinceramente vedere le varie strisce a colori hanno il loro perchè sono fantasticiii e tutti sbrilluccicosi veramente fatti bene, ma hanno tagliato tantissime parti che fanno riferimento al fumetto, parti a parer mio principali che non sto qui ad elencarvi perchè altrimenti vi rovinerei la lettura quindi preferisco evitare. A parte questo, sono ansiosa di scoprire come si evolverà la storia tra Risa e Yugure. Non mi rimane che attendere novembre per avere il 2 volume di questo fumetto a pare mio meraviglioso
Ps: Se volete guardare l'OAV fatelo dopo aver letto il manga vi raccomando

A parte questo, sono ansiosa di scoprire come si evolverà la storia tra Risa e Yugure. Non mi rimane che attendere novembre per avere il 2 volume di questo fumetto a pare mio meraviglioso

Alla seconda lettura, la mia recensione non cambia. La protagonista non mi dice nulla, ma il protagonista sembra avere personalità.

L'ho comprato perché la copertina è bellissima. E il retro è ancora meglio.
Premetto che sono in periodo NO per quel che riguarda gli shojo manga. Le protagoniste mi fanno di solito venire prurito alle manine.
Anche qui le cose non migliorano. La protagonista è la solita ragazzina nella media che s'innamora del bello della scuola. E qua, una novità: il protagonista maschile sembra aver decisamente il triplo della personalità di lei. E già al primo volume si mettono insieme. Mi piacerebbe sapere cosa succederà nei successivi nove...
Lei è di quelle che si disperano perché sì, mentre lei è felice e contenta, ci sono tutte le ragazze che avevano una cotta per Yugure che sono disperate poiché lui ormai le appartiene. Pietà!
Bah, potrei leggere il secondo volume e poi decidere cosa fare di questa.

Very cute and adorable (even though they're the same thing. They guy so hot too, looks like a cat. But soo many cliches and they're 14 and the relationship starts too fast. So I doubt that it's love, hope it is tho!!!
