Jacqueline the Elven Queen

Rate this book
As the saga continues, Turik comes before the council, but their meeting goes poorly when the young sage sees how the council runs their hidden city. Turik also meets his destined rival, Darashik, who seems to be Athtarn's pet. As Turik begins training, more and more problems arise, causing him to question his place in the council's city, Malilorn. When an opportunity arises for Turik to escape the constraints of the council and to assist his friend, Rein, Turik takes it. The group sets off across Zymaria, the land still controlled by Kal'Thazar. Along the way the group runs into several old friends as well as meeting a new one. As they reach Rein's hometown a surprise is waiting for them. Will the group succeed or will their failure bring about a great change?

First reads book. Autographed and personalized. Thank you!!

For some unknown reason, this book just did not keep my attention. One thing that bugged me, though, was the title of the book and the description of the book. The description does not explicitly mention Jacqueline the Elven Queen. I found that extremely odd.

In the lands ruled by Kal' Thazar, Turik the young sage who possesses magic powers and can shift into animal shapes sets out to save his friend’s parents from the evil clutches of Kal’ Thazar who is also interested in Turik’s powers.
Turik and his friend Rein, have to get Jacqueline the elven queen and wife of Athtarn safely out of town. The council is watching his steps, will he succeed, or will he fail? An adventurous story for older kids with a wolf, an eagle, and a Dragon.
I enjoyed Turik's character. The elven queen did not appear in the picture until later, I would have enjoyed reading more about that character.
I liked the parts with action and where I can imagine myself being there.
