Nice short story, expect more of it!

Taylor has created a world where the military is just beginning to create a Corps of psionic warriors. One of the weapons designers working for the military has had enough of equipment failures mutilating the young soldiers and resigns. Very quickly, she gets an offer of a shipboard posting, as an officer. To date, she's been trying to hide her own psionic abilities... This is an engaging short story, and it appears to be the start of a series. Recommended
