"Enthrall" To captivate, to charm, to subjugate, to beguile, to enrapture, to subdue. Bratva Prince. That's what they called Kazimir Kalashnik. Criminal. That's what my father called him. Misunderstood. That's how I saw him. The darkness that surrounded him captivated me. His confidence and entitlement intrigued me. He promised my safety. He promised to watch the world crumble to ash before letting anyone take me from him. His promises beguiled me. It was he who set my world ablaze. Then left me alone in the dying embers. He came back. He subjugated and conquered. It didn't take long to charm me back into submission. His demons never scared me. He feared they were infectious. But nothing prepared me for the monster that remained in existence. The same monster that carved him into the depraved man he had become. My undying devotion for him was formidable and unwavering. The daunting darkness never clouding the overall enthrallment.

This was an ok read for me. I liked it, but I probably wouldn’t re-read it.
It’s mafia romance that starts off with the main characters in high school. Something happens and they’re separated until he finds her again years later.
There were a few things that bothered me while reading it:
- There were lot of big words from a high school kid’s thoughts, that just didn’t make sense for them to use— I get not wanting to use the same words over and over, but that’s better than adding words rarely used, that just don’t flow with the story/characters.
- That the high school kids know he’s in the mafia is odd to me. Like, it’s just so we’ll known.. it’s strange.
- She’s too.. Giving? Weak? Like he starts bullying her then suddenly he’s going against his dad? And she just takes whatever. There’s no real push back or anything.
- There’s no build of a relationship. Every interaction they have is sexual, even when he’s bullying her— and she literally just takes it. They don’t talk or get to know each other and build something. Wish there was more build up.. of feelings, emotions, relationship etc. it ended up feeling a bit forced to me tbh. There wasn’t any real chemistry.
- She’s so flip floppy; refused to believe he killed her uncle, to the point it ruins her relationship with her dad but then he comes back and she accuses him of it and says she never truly believed it.
- She’s mad he waited 4 years to come find her but… he said no matter how long it took.
I did like how Kaz was able to get out from under his father’s abusive thumb, and how he let her have her time away before coming for her.
I also enjoyed the writing style and the writing in general- it’s well done.
The spice was also well done.
Overall if you like mafia romances, you’ll probably enjoy this one. It is worth the read, the author writes well and the story was interesting— at no point was I bored.
Just make sure you check your trigger warnings.

I had the opportunity to get an ARC for His to enthrall by Stasia Mars. It was my first read of hers and It did NOT disappoint. The love story between Kaz and Marta held me captive from the first page. I was unable to put this book down and read it pretty much within a day! If you love dark romance you NEED to read this book. The love story between a deceives daughter and a Russian Mafia Prince. Without giving to many spoilers away, the MMC dad was an absolute vile man who abused Kaz (the MMC) like you wouldn’t believe, Marta (the FMC) proved to Kaz there was someone capable of loving him like he deserved, when when he DIDN’T deserve it she never ran from him. It was so refreshing to read a story where the two main characters had issues but never used those issues as an excuse to leave. Marta understood it would be hard for Kaz to love, but when he did he loved hard. Such an amazing story. I will be going back and reading the other stories in this series.

I have read the first two books in this series and fell in love with Stasia’s vision, the darkness she encompasses in her characters and the way the books speak to me in a way that I didn’t think was possible because I’m new to dark romances such as this. Please be aware - this series is 18+ and is DARK.
Since I was an ARC reader this book I started reading on March 3, 2023 - and completed it: March 4, 2023.
I will tell you, I had to use the dictionary feature on my phone way too much for a book. I don’t want to show myself as being an idiot or having a crappy vocabulary but this book made me feel like I’d be ready for the English version of the SAT in no time. It takes a way a bit of the allure when I have to get the definition of so many words.
There are some Russian words in here that do not have translations for them, which causes issues because of how it’s written in KU it’s hard to get them to be translated so I had to leave the book several times to get the translation from Google Translate. However, the translations are later revealed in the book and it becomes easier - but in the beginning it’s not as much fun.
This book moves quickly from like 13% it’s enemies and at like 27% it gets to the dark lovers and it’s kind of like whiplash and it comes out of nowhere but I’m not complaining - I like a slow burn but not a painful one.
This book started to get to me and draw me further and further in - I was worried at first because in the beginning the romance between the FMC and the MMC made no sense, and it seemed like the chemistry was being forced or didn’t seem real, like it came out of nowhere, but once you get a bit further and the timeline moves to them being adults (instead of high school seniors) it really starts to play out and you’re drawn in.
There’s a scene is this book that I was not okay with and it had nothing to do with the 🩸 or 💀 etc - it was when the FMC was getting ready to go to a ball and says “I opted to skip breakfast and had a light lunch because I wanted to look as good as possible” - speaking of the dress she will be wearing. I understand if you’re writing a book about a character who has an ED to start and you have to work through that - but promoting ED in a book where it has no business being - is not okay with me. It’s these little sentences that can change an entire persons outlook. Just isn’t right.
In this book you’re guided to feel as though the FMC is independent, strong, and can stand up for herself. There are parts where she does - but the MMC uses 🌶️ to quiet her strong will and to me it makes this FMC so weak. No man should EVER turn you into a weak, unworthy of feeling, can’t use your own words to set boundaries for yourself type of woman. The FMC gives me the ick throughout this book. I wanted to throw it so many times to make her stop being so compliant and not knowing how to say no and stand up for herself. It feels as though it’s a form of SA called “coercion”. One of the TWs for this book states “consent non consent” - I feel like this may be inaccurate and should be updated. Consent non consent is a role-play that comes with trust and communication through the entire thing - what happens here is more of SA than I think the author really wanted to portray appropriately.
For the FMC being weak, maybe that’s what the author is trying to show here but I don’t like that the first two books in this series have such strong women that don’t back down and then we get this type of FMC and it just disappoints me.
Overall, I believe this book is worth reading if you’ve read the others because Stasia is an amazing author and she truly tries to captivate you and she does push the limits - so if you’re willing to have your limits tested, your stomach turning, your heart beating then it’s worth the read.
I won’t be taking ⭐️ away from my rating for any spelling or grammatical errors - as those happen when you ARC read, and I hope you all understand. I have shared my insights with the author and hopefully by the time you get your hands on this book - you’ll find that it’s perfected.

This third book in this series is going to blow your mind. It is action packed with so many dark secrets, betrayals, lies, lust, desire, and need for redemption that you will fall hard and fast for these amazing characters. The story is engrossing and thrilling.
Kazimir Kalashnik (Kaz) is the OG of Bratva Princes. He knows what he wants and doesn’t hesitate to take it. His life has been hard and tough. If you loved the first two books of this series, you are going to be so captivated by this one. If I thought the first two were dark, i definitely think this one takes the cake so be mindful when reading.🖤
We meet Marta Adams who’s a new student at a HS in New York who also has 4 months left before graduating. She’s used to moving schools due to her Dad being a notorious detective taking on these jobs that required them to move often.
She encounters Kazimir Kalashnik, who’s a Bratva Prince. His dad believes Marta’s Dad will be a problem so the plan, drive them out by making Marta’s life at school unpleasant.
It won’t be easy especially when Marta has an effect on Kazimir. Stirring something in the darkness that consumes him. Time for him to make changes rather sooner than later and if that means letting Marta go, then be it but he will come for her when the time is right.
Years pass and he makes good on his promise but Marta doesn’t want anything to do with him because of what she was told he did ( or that’s what she thinks.)
However, Kazimir doesn’t give her a choice. I don’t want to spoil anything because y’all need to read this ASAP when this releases. I do want to say that I love that we get a little of a throwback glimpse from book 1 and we see our couple from book 2. But as I was saying, You will not be disappointed! I can’t get over how AMAZING this book is. 😩👏🏼
This was an intense rollercoaster of emotions. One full of surprises (OMG), heartache, heartwarming moments, and we can’t forget about those 🥵🌶️ scenes.
Stasia, you are a brilliant writer/storyteller! You blew me away. I fell hard for these two and their wild journey. Such an amazing Series! 😭😮💨😍❤️🔥

Read Trigger Warnings Before Reading!!!
Omg! I was lucky enough to ARC read His To Enthrall by the amazing and wonder author Stasia Mars. It was my 1st read of hers and it drew me in and captured my body and soul.
Russian Mafia Prince Kaz, who has been beaten and tortured all of his life by his scum bag mafia king father meets Marta, who is a witty, smart, beautiful daughter of a detective. They were brought to the city by his cop brother to investigate this said mafia king.
Kaz is ordered quickly to do whatever it takes to scare Marta and her father back out of town. What he didn’t expect was to fall for this innocent, beautiful and intelligent woman.
“Solnyahka” is what her refers to Marta as throughout the book. She eventually gets him to tell her what it means. Sunshine… to him, she is the sunshine and bright light in his dark world.
This book really does drawn you in, chew you up, and spit you back out with all of the plot twist, time jumps, and secrets. Hot and heavy and one of my favorite books read within the last year! Looking forward to the next book and hoping I’m chosen again!!!!

Great read
I was hooked from the very beginning with Kazimir and Marta's story. Mafia prince is told to get Marta and her detective father out of town. What he doesn't expect is to fall for her. A certain situation tears them apart and they are reunited years later. The fights, the secrets, (Oh man the secrets) and enemies won't keep them apart again. I don't want to spoil the story at all. There were some words used in this book I had to look up and some translations I had to search and though it was a little frustrating to have to stop and look it was worth it. I've read all three to this interconnected series and this is my favorite. Again its an interconnected series but they are stand-alones. The first 2 books are good reads as well. I can't wait to see what this author writes next.

This story was the 3rd book in the Men of the Mafia series but can be read as a standalone. Read the trigger warnings before starting this book as it does have some dark scenes.
I will admit I had a hard time getting into the story at the very beginning, but the further I got into the book, the more this story drew me in. It made me excited to see what happened next and how the love story would unfold. But I did have a love/hate relationship with Kaz throughout the book.

This book was extremely intense and lots of unaliving. 🖤 You look or touch you d!e Vibes. And once again I couldn’t stop reading. Personally I had a love/häte relationship with Kaz. It’s like he would do things that pi$$ed me off but the things he does throughout the book to protect Marta makes me love him. I loved how strong and more willing to stand up for herself she became over the years too after she met kaz. The spice is great too. :) Definitely recommend this book. I enjoyed the whole series really. Check triggers 18+

Another Mafia Man tamed by a beautiful badass woman! Stasia Mars absolutely crushed it with this book and I can’t say I’m surprised.
I loved watching the characters grow from high schoolers to adults, watching their relationship develop from “mission” to SO MUCH MORE. I have not been disappointed by a Men of The Mafia yet, and I can definitely say that’s still the case!
I cannot wait to see whose story we get next!

This book is an amazing read. I loved how easy it was to follow and it kept me on my toes. I finished it in a few hours. This book is definitely for 18+ as to being a mafia romance. I really enjoyed the plot and story line in this book. I adore how Stasia showed so much emotion and growth in this book from both characters. Overall this is one of my favorite reads this year and is definitely worth checking out!

This book was good. The story was great, I love a good bad boy/mafia plot. With that being said, I got bored really quickly. There was way too much S.E.X. like in every other page. Don't get me wrong, this story is 🔥 as hell. But it got to the point that I was rolling my eyes and saying, "ok, here we go again." Another thing that bothered me a little was that I was trying to google the translation of some of the Russian words, and I could not find any. Other than that, it was a good read.

I absolutely loved this book! It was so well written an in my opinion the best book in the series! I loved how Kaz grew emotionally throughout the story. He had so much growth and that’s why I loved him. He was admit when he was wrong and actively tried to change his ways to be a better man who deserves the love he wants.

I seriously wish these apps would let you do stars appropriately, because this is a 3.75 for me. I did like it, just wasn't exactly a 4 for me. It was better then the 2nd book, but not the 1st book. I get that a lot in this book was given with consent, and I did love that he truly felt guilt and regret. However, I just can't get behind a MFC that let's a MMC get away with everything.

Wow this is a first read for this author and I loved the plot and the characters in this story. Their is a love chemistry between Kaz and Marta. This is a dark love that has TW, so read them before going into this read. I loved this story and the flow of the story.

This book was soooo deliciously good. I never knew hot Russian mafia guys were my thing but daaaang. The hot scenes were definitely hot. But this has so much plot going for it that I could NOT put it down. I highly recommend this.
