First there was the 'Happy Ever After' Trilogy, then there was 'Peter' now Matt Shaw brings you the final part of Peter's story in 'All Good Things'.

"I thought my life was easier now. Since coming to terms with the fact I'm a monster - my days were supposed to be less confusing. Monsters, such as myself, aren't allowed Love. We certainly aren't allowed our own Happy Ever After... so there was no point looking anymore. Just carry on with my newfound mission.... punishing the bad women of the world and rescuing the abused. But then she came along.... this new woman... She confused everything with the way she acts around me. Does she love me like I imagine her to or is she just another one of the many teases.... or maybe I'm just reading the signals wrong. No. I'm sure that's not the case. She seems to be genuine... and genuinely interested. They say you find Love when you stop looking. Is that what's happened? I stopped looking and Love found me?! Maybe All Good Things do come to those that wait...."

Told through Peter's eyes - 'All Good Things' is the gripping, and twisted, conclusion to Peter's story. Will he really find the Happy Ever After he's so desperate for or will it be yet another dead-end (and dead girl)?

Biography

MATT SHAW was born, quite by accident (his mother tripped, he shot out) September 30th 1980 in Winchester hospital where he was immediately placed on the baby ward and EBay. Some twelve years later (wandering the corridors of the hospital and playing with road kill when he was on day release), the listing closed and he remained unsold, he was booted out of the hospital to start his life as a writer and hobbit – beginning with writing screenplays and short stories for his own amusement before finally getting published when he was twenty-seven years and forty-five seconds old.

Once Published weekly in a lad's magazine with his photography work, Matt Shaw is also a published author and cartoonist. Has to be said, can be a bit of a flirt and definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, somewhat of a klutz.

***** 5 Redemption Bites You In The Ass Stars *****

"Saving these women....
Saving men, such as I used to be....
That's my redemption."

Peter has a mission. He is out to take care of all the deceiving women out there. All the women that suck men in there to buy them gifts in return for promises that are never kept.

While seeking justice for all the men suckered in, he sees Emma.

Emma is a prostitute working the dark, dirty streets. Peter thinks he is helping her but giving her a night off. Peter pays Emma for her company. He is lonely and when he is lonely his demons want to come out and play. He fights those demons but some friendly companionship. That is all Emma can be. Nothing more or his dark mind takes over and things go really bad.

As Peter spends time with Emma he comes to really liking her. She is a lot like him. They connect on a level he has always wanted and needed. Could Emma be the girl he has always been looking for? Peter never sees that Emma has an agenda of her own.

When things finally start looking promising for Peter and his heart, Matt Shaw literally takes this story and shreds it along with my heart.

"I just wanted to be loved. I just wanted to give my heart to someone and for someone to give.....
"You want to give your heart to someone?"
"Yes, it's all I've ever wanted."
"Well my love, I'll take it....and I'll carry it with me wherever I go...."
I didn't wait for him to say anything further - I simply

DONE!!!

^^^ YEAH RIGHT, as if that will happen in a Matt Shaw novel.

I loved the whole series and especially this installment. Though it was nerve-wracking but it was a befitting end for Peter.

So glad I went forward with this one. Although I loved the twists in the first two books, 'Peter' was not my favorite installment, a little too much humanizing the serial killer for me I guess and I missed the authors clever twists that were in the Vanessa- Peter books.

I loved this one though, perfect ending to Peter's story. Not only did I laugh as Peter cautions about the dangerous people you can meet on the Internet because there are psychos out there after all, but he finally mets the woman who is PERFECT for him and understands him in every way. Poetic really.... poetic justice. Mwahahahahaha!

Great series if you love some dark humor, enjoy some truly skewed perspectives, and appreciate some shocking imaginative twists, and that's pretty high praise for a non-horror genre reader, or maybe a new horror reader...

This is essentially the last in the Peter Chronicles. Peter has come to the conclusion that he doesn't deserve love and has made it his mission to 'save' prostitutes, and 'punish' rinsers and con-artists. That's his plan anyway, but we all know the best laid plans have a habit of going awry....

Sniff, sob, this is the last we will see of Peter. I am sad, but Matt has ensured that Peter's story ends with a bang. The pace as ever was relentless and the cast small. The twist towards the end was quite unexpected but made for interesting reading and added a different view on things. Now I have to come to terms with no more Peter, but Matt was right to end it where he did, and this was a fitting end for a guy like Peter.

This was turning out to be an amazing read. I love the Peter chronicles and this is one of the better chapters (although to be honest they are all great). Having said that, the last quarter of the book does take a turn in the plot that I was not expecting to see, and I'm not too happy about either.

Peter :( no :(

As sad as I am that this is over, that was such a perfect ending.
Peter is easily my favourite character in any series I've ever read.
Why couldn't someone just love him?!
