About the author

Levi was born in 1975 in Haifa, Israel. He served as a commander of a Dabur boat in the Israeli navy, and later as the principal of the Seamanship and Weapon School in Bahad 600. He was discharged as Captain.

Levi is an electrical engineer, an alumnus of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Israel Institute of Technology. In the Technion he had written and edited Demiculi, the humour and satire section of Culi, the students' periodical.

Levi lectures about a variety of popular science and technology topics. He writes for many magazines and websites, including Calacalist, Hayd'an, Odisea, Ynet and more.
He is also known for hosting Osim Historia, a popular Israeli podcast about science, technology and history along with Malicious Life, an internationally renowned podcast about cybersecurity.

Levi is married and has three children.

כל פרק, כמעט כל סעיף גרם לי להגיד "וואלה?!" הספר התחיל כמו ספר לשירותים (זה במפורש ההמלצה שקיבלתי- "ספר השירותים האולטימטיבי") אבל הוא הלך איתי לכל מקום, לא יכולתי להניח אותו עד שלא סיימתי. ממולץ בחום..
