As days turn to weeks on the burning sands and other dangers take precedence, he finds himself locked in a battle of wills with his Sergeant Major. Watching it all, in horror, a civilian journalist unjustly imprisoned in the garrison. In Garrison is the debut novel by Christopher Newland, an American writer living in Austin, Texas.

I am an American writer living in Austin, Texas.

I am a member of American Mensa; a 26 year veteran of the US Navy; and a graduate of Saint Leo University.
