Their leader in this war is Hade, a colossus in both size and intellect. With unlimited resources, the latest advances in experimental biotechnology, and command over an army of evil spirits that exists on the other side of this mortal veil, he has spent countless years preparing to usher in the end of days.
But Hade's greatest weapon comes from an unlikely source. He possesses the lost scriptures which God commanded John to seal up from the book of Revelation. These passages reveal the true depths of the horror to come, and they foretell the emergence of Three Kings who hold the potential to either fulfill the biblical promise of a thousand years of peace or to ensure a millennial reign of hell on earth.
However, these promised kings are no heroes. They are a small and disparate group of flawed individuals, thrown together into a battle not only for their lives, but for their very souls and the souls of all mankind. They will struggle against each other, battle to survive, and end up questioning everything they have ever known as they stand against the greatest evil ever launched against humanity.
In a world where good is no longer certain to overcome evil, and civilization as we know it stands on the brink, nothing, and no one, is safe from the coming storm.

About the author

Michael Koogler was born in Dayton, Ohio and resides today in Coralville, Iowa with his wife and children...those that haven't left the nest yet. He is an avid reader of fiction, enjoying the talents of numerous independent authors right along with some of his favorite legends like Stephen King, Terry Brooks, Jim Butcher, and RA Salvatore.

His first full-length novel, "Hade's Gambit", was co-written with fellow authors Jed Quinn and Jaren Riley and offers a new and edge-of-your-seat spin on the last days. The follow-up novel, entitled "The Rise of Cain", was released Fall of 2013. He also has an appearance in the Mbedzi Publishing paranormal anthology entitled "Sadistic Shorts", as well as another short story in the 2015-released horror anthology entitled "Never Fear".

His first solo novel, the sci-fi horror "Antivirus", was released in April of 2015 and his fantasy epic entitled "Convergence" will release in June of 2015. Upcoming projects include "Antivirus 2: The Awakening", "Mirror", and the sci-fi epic "Invasion".

Fasten your seatbelt! Hade's Gambit, Book One of the Krypteia Conspiracy (Books Two and Three are in the works), delivers lots of action, the perfect villain, great characters, and an epic battle between good and evil that rocks the world. Readers who enjoy fast-paced apocalyptic novels and are familiar with The Book Of Revelation will feel right at home. Like I said, fasten your seatbelt! Hade's Gambit is quite a ride!

If you have been looking for something GREAT to read this summer, I suggest you read Hade's Gambit. I have been starting and discarding books most of the summer, but this one sucked me in and held my attention until the very last page. It has a fast-paced plot, and you don't feel like you're reading an 800+ page book. I will not give away the plot, but its a bit of Dan Brown meets Night of the Living Dead meets the Book of Revelations. You won't want to read this one home alone or in the dark. Hurry up and read this book so you can say you read it before it was on the NY Times Bestseller list.

I love love love this book! It is not a book that I would normally choose. I read the summary and was a bit unsure, but since it was for Book Club, I had to read it. And I am SO very glad that I did. It hooked me from the very beginning and never slowed down. There is about a 1/4 of the book that deals with serious Zombie issues, but never gets cheesy or over the top. I can't wait for the next book. Give it a try! It is fantastic, intelligent writing and creative and thought provoking concepts.

This is not a book I would have usually chosen but since it was written by some close friends, I had to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised because even though I knew 2 of the authors really well, even I couldn't tell who wrote what. It is a page turner about Apocalyptic Zombie Mayhem. The characters are amazing. You cheer for the heroes and the Villains... well I wanted to crawl into the book and take care of them myself! You will become emotionally involved and the story line is very dark and thought provoking! Expect the unexpected and you will still be surprised as the events unfold!

I absolutely love this book and the genius of it's plot. I was first hooked by the intensity and the rush it gave me while reading it and the surprise twist at the end still leaves me in shock. Speaking from the point of view from a fifteen year, when you take a small band of normal people fighting to save the world, a lot of scientifically made zombies, and a genius mastermind who's pulled all the strings to bring these events to life, you have a true masterpiece.

This book kept me up late at night. While going about my daily life I would often see things that would make me think of events and wonder what is going to happen next to my characters. I'm really looking forward to the next book. I wish I had it in my hands already.

If you're not a fan of the Super-scam of "Bottled Water", this is your kind of book. Hade is a Master of planning.... And that's all I'm gonna say on this!
