Review of audiobook format.

Bob Souer narrates and does a great job holding my attention. Some audiobook bibles/books have a monotone narrator and cause my mind to wander to other thoughts. Not so here. A little over 2 hours of listening to the book of Matthew made it possible for me to begin my goal to re-read the bible. While reading with my eyes, I want to stop and look up connecting verses, research a thought, etc. I get side tracked and then seeing it's taking forever I slowly but surely stop picking it up to finish. With listening, especially while driving, I will be able to listen through to completion, and then later, truly research something that sticks with me rather than jumping all over from the start.

This is a record of Jesus the Messiah, a descendant of David and of Abraham:
Matthew 4:17 - 17 From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

Matthew 21:42–43 - Then Jesus asked them, “Didn’t you ever read this in the Scriptures? ‘The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone. This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see.’ I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation that will produce the proper fruit.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Bless the name of Jesus!
