Mr. Grumpy and the Kitten
When Barry's cat has kittens, he decides that one special kitten would be just perfect for Mr. Grumpy the school janitor, but the janitor says he doesn't like cats! However things change when Barry brings Sir Mortimer to school and Mr. Grumpy must take care of him for the day. The kitten soon wins his heart. A nice simple chapter book for new readers.
