Is it bad that the entire time I read this, I kept wondering what exactly the point was? Yes, it had some really interesting characters, and I loved some of the twists, but at the end of the day, what did this book really accomplish?
Not much.
Entertaining read, but by the end, I just wanted to know how it finished and while I wasn't surprised by anything, I was still a little disappointed. I just wanted a little more.
This was fantastic! I have never tried reading a Thriller before but the cover was so intriguing, I knew I had to try it. I was completely blown away. I love the dynamics that Adelaide possessed and how Marcus is patient and fascinated with her. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good thriller with a strong heroine.
This is a book I got on Amazon for my kindle without knowing a whole lot about the author. It was an okay story about an American ATF agent trying to bring down a criminal who's girlfriend is a fairly damaged and psychotic killer. The story was unique and the writing okay (except for some editing errors) but it just didn't catch my attention a whole lot.
This book kept my attention, I could barely put it down. Maybe because everyone feels they have an inner demon is what gives this book a great storyline, but I really liked it. I wanted to know what was going to happen and was drawn into the story very quickly. I really liked this book!
It's a shame that I couldn't get into this book for some reason; because I actually thought that the storyline with the schizophrenic monster inside Adelaide would have been more interesting to explore.
There were a lot of characters/story lines and the plot was a little difficult to follow at times, but overall I thought it was great. Lots of unexpected twists.
