Myrtle Mae and the Mirror in the Attic is a fun, action-packed ride from the first page to the last. Eight-year-old Myrtle Mae and her family have moved into her deceased Great Aunt Gertrude's home. During an exploratory "mission", Myrtle and her brothers find a mirror in the attic. That night Myrtle and her family are awakened by a strange cat, dubbed Mr. Screeches, who befriends her. The real fun begins when Goblins come through the mirror in the attic and kidnap her family. Now it's up to Myrtle and Mr. Screeches to save them. To add to her worries, Myrtle begins to find her place in an ancient prophesy in the line of powerful Mae Witches and a that Mr.Screeches can talk.
Bio: Joe Egly lives in North-Eastern Indiana with his wife and their zoo of animals. He has a secret day job working at a library, where he enjoys checking out his books to unsuspecting patrons. Writing is something that he continually thinks about and is often found scribbling on small scraps of paper. He also enjoys painting and drawing, that sometimes appear in his books.
