We are not alone…

Earth - today, we go about our everyday business. Tomorrow, it doesn't matter: The Invaders from Space have arrived. And for all the worst reasons... Humanity is about to be brought face to face with the most dangerous enemy it has ever faced, at the worst possible time. But the aliens don't care - they have only one goal - the complete conquest of the Earth and converting us to their religion, by any means necessary. From Texas, to Australia, to the Holy Land, the bitter struggle for victory rages, with millions of innocent lives caught in the crossfire. Victory is our only hope for survival...

But can humanity stand a chance when the enemy holds all the cards?

Christopher Nuttall strikes again!

While the story is somewhat predictable. It is very well done. It covers the political spectrum as well as the military and social. Mr. Nuttall is also very good with human nature and psychology.

If u like alien invasions that are realistic enough, here u go !

Throughly enjoyed this. Great pace, good character development and interesting take on alien tech and human response. Plenty of action, both tactical and strategic.

Bland, boring far away fron the author other works. With ideas taken from a deranged world. With personages their thinking can't be real in a situation as described, a six year old will do and take smarter decision than some of the "actors" in this book. I gave it first two stars, but is only one or even lower. Hope the author will get back at writing decent books.

I give this book 2 and a half stars, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't amazing either, it was just okay. I found that because there was so many characters in the book that I didn't feel connected to any of them but there was enough brain gravy in the book to make that fact not matter at all. I found it kind of annoying though that "resistance is futile" was used a fair few times, especially being a Star Trek fan. That saying should be left to The Borg.

Great story, great reading

overall I really enjoyed the book. Maybe one thing which could have been better: no true main character(s). Reaching a point in the book it was difficult to put it down!

Perspective

It is an interesting concept to have a religious zealot alien race involve earth. I thought of all the historical times where well meaning individuals used religion as way to enlighten or save those not currently involved in the same belief system.

I found this to be a very good read. Good character development and a compelling plot. It was nice to read a story of alien invasion without the humans coming up with unexplained technology to defeat the aliens as it is with a lot of other novels. Just fighting back with modern existing technology.
