Wanted More

I Liked the story, I was quite angry with Candy, but was glad things worked out in the end. I felt the book ended abruptly because I needed a better ending, but all can't get what we want. I definitely recommend this book because some factors may resonate with you.

Excellent Read

I truly enjoyed this book! A story of how love trust and good communication can prevail over pain and sadness. Candy and Gabriel are two people who did the right things in their prior relationships, but nothing was right until they found each other....soul mates. I loved the recipes as well as sharing in Candy's journey to self discovery, unconditional commitment and love. I also enjoyed Gabe's alpha ways. His no nonsense approach to loving Candy left me routing for their happiness. I recommend this book to all who love a good story!

This book made me really think about the whole women, happiness and food situation.I really enjoyed it and it made me look at how I feel about me and how I use food to kind of keep men at bay. Candy is successful and beautiful, but as always we have our demons and question our self worth. Great book.

One of the best books I have ever read, a great hero who was strong as well as vulnerable. I recommend this book, though I found it slow in the beginning when they spoke of her other relationships but it soon gathered momentum. If more stars were available I think I would give this book more stars.

Candy bothered me the first half of the book. She was stupid. She didn't listen to her instincts. And when she and Gabriel finally get together she blames him for other people's mistakes. I only rated it 3 stars because of Candy's friend romance with the muslim man.

If you've read about Mr. Saint, then you will love this one too. I love the way the author pulls you into the character, seeing things from their point of view, wanting more every step of the way. You rock Ms. Laveen.

Loved this

Book. True Tiana Laveen style. Not as deep as the saint series but just as interesting. I would recommend this book.
