Palkittu esikoisdekkari. Applen iTunes Finlandin top 100 e-kirjalistan 1. sija loka-marraskuussa 2012.
Helsingin seudulla tapahtuu lyhyessä ajassa monta hämärää, lavastetun tuntuista surmatyötä. Uhrit ovat viimeisinä päivinään joutuneet omituisten tapahtumien keskelle. Kuin joku olisi halunnut viedä heiltä viimeisetkin järjen rippeet.
Pikkukaupungista vaikeaan kasvulähiöönsä palannut rikoskonstaapeli Markku Isaksson ryhmineen tutkii täydelliseltä tuntuvaa murhapeliä, jonka narujen vetäjällä on oma päämääränsä.
Romaani palkittiin Kouvolan Dekkaripäivien 10-vuotisjuhlavuoden dekkariromaanikilpailussa 3. palkinnolla vuonna 2006.

Koska kymmenen vuotta on kulunut katsoin parhaaksi uudistaa tuttavuuteni Markku Isakssoniin palauttaakseni mieleeni millaisesta poliisista on kyse.

Pisteet kirjailijalle.

I enjoyed reading this book. Nice twists in the plot and great end as everything unfolds. Good to have a few more Isaksson books to go..

I thought about this book for awhile and think it is ok. You had to get to know people fast and then Medusa in the last chapter. It was a good short story.

Police detective Isaksson and his group have a few deaths to investigate. Little by little they find connections between some of them. In his personal life Isaksson is separated and finds out that his son has been bullied. Luckily the school seems to take it seriously and the son's teacher manages to boost the boy's self-confidence and stop the bullying. The reader follows the story through Isaksson's eyes but also the killer's and I must admit I was surprised when I learned the killer's identity. This book starts a series and I think I might read the next one, too. At least if I happen to see it at the library.

I don't have much to say about this book. A really quick read, the plot moves quickly and keeps you entertained. The plot twist at the end was cool, was not expecting that.

The main theme of the book is bullying and what effects it has later on in life. I could imagine a teacher assigning this as a class read.
