With this kind of book when I get to a part I like I either take a break right there or at the end of the chapter. I like to let the information sink in. So in this case being a putsy reader is a compliment.

The story starts out about a long haul truck driver and while he's at a stop he meets a guy named Matt. Intrigued with the guy and a little lonely for someone to talk to, he reluctantly agrees to give him a ride. Matt is a guru and in exchange for the ride he "will get him where he needs to go."

The story is his journey to a better understanding of himself and how to find happiness. I like the banter between the two of them but his sarcasm was a bit much for me at times. I do see how it fit into the story though.

I could relate much of this to my life and learned a few new things. There was some advise at the end of the book that is definitely helpful. It's how I finally quit smoking actually. I did figure it out before I read the book however but it's a useful tool for success. Twenty-seven years of failed attempts and now I'm smoke free! Not quite the point of the book but my point is it can be applied to many aspects of your life, to a change for the better.

A side note, if you would have asked me how much I knew about truck drivers before I read this book I would have answered not much. I was surprised to learn I knew much more than I thought!

I really loved this little book. I don't usually read books to spiritual enlighten but this was a great book. Mr. Boter had a way of telling a wonderful story and making you stop and take a real look at your own life.I read it in two days and found I couldn't wait see how it would end. I so agree with Mr Boter. So many changes can be made in our lives to make us happy and to get the things in life you want. I will pass it on to my daughter and niece. Thank you Mr. Douglas Boter for this great book. THE GURU DELIVERY

A Guru drifts into Khris's (a long-haul truck driver)life, just as natural as the river flows. And he teaches Khris fundamentals of spirituality, sometimes in elaborate ways and then again in shortcuts that hit home.

Travel with Khris and his Guru and learn with him how to deal with distractions in life and turn your attention to important things, and live.

You will learn, smile and you,ll want to pass it on!

I have received Guru Delivery this week and read it with delight. It opened a door to a different kind of spirituality than I've known. I actually wrote down notes to think through later. I would recommend!
