I enjoyed this book so much and I liked that we had a disability character its rare now a days to have that.

Gabby is a sweet sassy disabled woman who never really had a family and is working for the family. Already in town she feels the love from the family and alittle cold shoulder from Rune the man who loves to read and please his family. Now at one point I was this close to disliking Rune, he didn't wanna "date" or really get to know Gabby because she was a non reader.. i was about to smack him upside the head.. one little flaw.. that wasnt even big you'll let it ruin your chance at happiness. But good thing he didnt.. their story took some time because of Gabby and her thoughts about peoples leaving her and her job and the readathon. But these two were so cute together and their dirty listening ;) also.. RUNE IS A VIRGIN!! its rare to have a guy virgin and a non-virgin heroine.

3,5 estrellas. Me ha gustado más que el primero. Sigue siendo igual de corto y entretenido, pero aquí hay una librería maravillosa y un tipo en plan Thor, que lleva mal que la protagonista no lea y le recomienda libros tan dispares como Persuasión de Jane Austen, El vizconde que me amó de Julia Quinn y Blue Barbarian de Ruby Dixon. Por si eso fuera poco, la autora nos presenta una protagonista femenina con una discapacidad más que normalizada, pues habla de ella como si se tratara de una característica física más, como el color de los ojos o del pelo. Solo por eso, ya vale la pena leerlo.

This was my first Evie Mitchell book, and it was a really nice and fun, easy read. I loved how both main characters were a bit out of the ordinary - our hero was a book lover, running a book/coffee shop, and our heroine was a kick ass chick with an awesome job and a disability.

I liked that this had no over the top moments, flowed really well and was just a pleasure to read. Wonderful characters (secondary ones included), steamy scenes and a great ending.

I would recommend, and I look forward to more from Evie Mitchell.

This book was 5 stars for me until the very last chapter. I loved the bookish romance-reading hero. He was a total cinnamon roll! The last chapter he like turned into an alpha and claimed her against a wall. It didn't really feel like it fit with the rest of the book.
He's also a virgin hero, but doesn't act or seem like it at all. I know he reads a lot of romance books, but it was a little off.

Loved this!

I am a below knee amputee and a BBW, and I rarely read anything about women like myself. It’s just not there. This was such a pleasant surprise, and it totally blew me away. Thank you for taking the time to research what amputees wear to get it right; it means so much!❤️

Oh Dios que libro más cute, es instalove si, pero para la cantidad de hojas que tiene es perfecto todo y lo disfruté muchísimo. Rune y Gabby me gustaron mucho en the A-list el cual leí sin saber que este iba antes pero en fin, fue lindo leer como se conocieron.

Me encantó que Rune sea un amante de los libros y ella una carpintera para nada fanática de los libros y me gustó que el le propusiera el reto de lectura sobre todo porque él le recomendaba en su mayoría libros eroticos jajaja

Me encantó la familia de Rune y la manera en la que todos fueron agradables con Gabby, no creo leer los demás libros de la serie solo me interesó este así que esta bien, me gustó mucho la forma que tiene de escribir la autora, amo que sea muy respetuosa con el tema de las discapacidades y también escribe de una manera muy ligera y linda. Espero leer más de ella en el futuro✨

I absolutely ADORED this book! Rune and Gabby were everything I needed them to be.

From their first meeting, to the misunderstandings, to the understandings, to the reading competition, to the reading selection (excellent recommendations are made in this book!), to everything else that happens in this story, it is sheer perfection!

I'm off to reread this again. It is that good. P. S. Have some ice water near you. It gets steamy in the best possible way!

Wow... With all the raving reviews, I did not expect for this to be written like a fanfic I could've easily written when I was like 13/14.

The premise had such potential, but just wasn't executed well. Wish I could read this by somebody that writes WAY better!

Also the editing and formatting were so bad, yikes.

I really liked this one. I was very intrigued by Rune since we were introduced to him in the previous book of this series. He was just so grumpy and wasn’t very social, I just wanted to know more about him. Turns out he’s super into reading (obviously because he owns a bookstore) and every time he thought something about a book he’d previously read in his POV I liked him a little bit more. Why is a guy who’s into romance books so sexy?!? Ughhhh. He’s also a virgin!!! Woooh baby *fans self*

Gabby was pretty cool too and super gorgeous according to the model on the cover with the turquoise necklace, red lipstick, black raybans and black and white nail polish - this is what she was wearing when Rune first saw her. 😍😍

They were super cute together and I loved the epilogue. I absolutely love the Larssen family and I’m excited to read more of them. 3.75⭐️

So, essentially, what Evie Mitchell did here was write a romance about a viking-esque, book-obsessed hero who uses romantic novels as foreplay, all the while name-dropping five star romances to the readers to either be reminded of them or introduced to them.
Oh, and just happening to be a representation badass at the same time.

Sexy romantic comedy with a man who loves books

What is sexier than a man who reads... nothing! Rune is a GOD! I loved this quick story and I love that Gabby wasn't your perfect character she had a disability. They had chemistry and passion and was a highly enjoyable read. Will read more of this family!

I love this characters so much!! The MMC is the one who’s inexperienced, it’s so fun how usually it’s the opposite and he’s the book nerd, love it!! Funny enough, I related to the MMC more than the FMC!! It was so fun and light, and of course spicy!! The inclusivity that this writer puts on her stories is amazing! The ending was so cute!!

Funny and Sexy? Yes please.

Both main characters were a brilliant mix of funny and sexy, with heaps of attitude, and Rune's family were such a fun cast of characters in the background. Their romance was steamy, and their taste in books was amazing. Really loved reading this book.

I loved this so much. Like I wish it was a full length novel because the basis of the story and the characters were amazing. Because it’s not a full length, somethings have to progress faster than I would’ve liked but honestly I’m okay with that
