[Siren Everlasting Classic Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, shape-shifters, HEA] Who said being human was easy? When Jaycee decided to walk home after his car died, he had no idea his life was about to take a turn for the worst. A stranger attacks him in his own backyard, but Jaycee soon finds out that the man isn’t human. Wolf was on the hunt for a hell hound, but found his mate instead, and he was injured by the one very creature whose bite was lethal to humans. Taking his mate home, Wolf worried that Jaycee wouldn’t live through the night. The winged beasts soon find that not only was Wolf’s mate in danger of dying, but the king of Zanthar hadn't forgotten about them. He sends his gift in the form of two brimstone demons who are ten feet tall and spit acid. Will Wolf’s mate survive his attack, and will the winged beasts survive the king’s gift? As the fight for not only Jaycee’s life begins, so does the trouble that continually unfolds for the winged beasts. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

I don't know what happened to my review since it seems to have disappeared. Wolf is one of the exiled 'winged beasts) who finds his human mate, Jaycee. There really are some extraordinary and spine tingling creatures in this book, and a significant amount of danger. I was annoyed in the beginning when Jaycee kept running from his mate. I understand that he was scared, but the things that were after him were extremely worse than dealing with Wolf. I was relieved though, that there were no human hunters, and no Joe Hephner. =) Maverick makes an appearance, along with pa Lakeland, and many others from previous books, so that was fun. There's plenty of danger, lots of action, and even humor. I wonder how authors are able to create these tales so well while getting into the heads of the characters. It amazes me, and I definitely enjoy reading their books. Marvelous. :)

The may be the 2nd of The Exiled series but it's like #50 in the Brac World and I think this one may actually be my favorite so far.

It was fluid in pulling all the different branches of this world together. I didn't feel like I was pulled from Brac Village to Pride Pack Valley to the Demon realm, the transitions were seemless and justified with the story.

THe cover art doesn't encompass the beauty of the characters, but at least one of them has a goatee. :)

I look forward to book 3 as well as book 51.

Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each):
Brac Pack
Christian's Coven
Zeus's Pack
Demon Warriors
The Exiled

These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.

One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order):
Brac Village
Shadow Tribe
BPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids)
The Remus Brothers
Wolves of Desire

Not bad. It does feel as though I have read this same story with these same characters many times over now, but still, the elements came together nicely in this one.

Jaycee was fun, although he clearly was cut from the same cloth as, say, Sterling from the book I read before this one. This author sure does love her character types. (Which is okay with me as long as she picks the ones I enjoy, like here.) On the up-side, Wolf turned out to be a lot more likeable than Sterling’s counterpart.

While it is interesting to have original creatures in this spin-off series, I am not particularly happy with the premise of having to have sex with full commitment and everything within forty-eight hours, or death will ensue. The extreme horniness and the time pressure force the focus on the physical, even when it’s about the emotional aspects – since everything’s the means to the end of getting the claiming done.

Even so, yeah, this was not a bad book. I’m surprised by how pleasant it was, considering the non-series or other-series books I’ve read by this author in the past six months or so have been atrocious.

This one was a lot better than the first. I really enjoyed it :)

Wonder what's going on with Jaycee's family? Hmmm...

Renato's story is next, but I have no idea when it's going to be released. I WANT IT NOW!

Awesome! Loved the gentle bring in of other series in this world (Brac Village and Pride Valley) Jacyee's family seems to be more than meets the eye and Renato had me on the edge of my seat to want to know what up with his mate! Totally looking forward to book 3

Wolf finally find his mate

This is the second book in exiled series, about Wolf and his mate. I thought the plot was great and the characters funny and loveable. I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out.
