Jasper said he was good and it was easier that way so he didn't get hurt and now he's saying that he just can't stop being bad.
Ericson was supposedly human and inseminating women of every species which is why his son was latently a vampire. He supposedly hated paranormals. Now it's all changed. It's like she decided to change the plot midway through the series.
Jasper screams when their vehicle is hit. Most people don't scream in a car crash--they don't have time. He is such a caricature of a weak woman.
Of course they think of sex while in danger.
You run slower when you're holding hands.
The newcomers didn't comment they were covered in mud? Did they bathe him while he was asleep?
If a vampire is father to all the men, wouldn't they all be vampires?
Calling a grown man "little one"?
Adequate peril.

I'm giving every book in this series two stars because they're badly written and the characters are all obnoxious clichés, but the story is interesting enough for me to want to find out what happens in the next one.

A nice story with likable protagonists.
The secondary characters once more get the worst of it representation-wise, but it is not as remotely bad as in some of the previous books. Okay, at times reactions do not make complete sense to me.
However, nothing in this book angered me. And Marc and Jasper make for a cute couple.
The ending is a little abrupt, leaving – in my opinion – a little too much open. But since it does end on something of an upbeat note, this may serve well as an ending to the entire series, just in case no further books appear down the line.

(After reread 7/4/2018) ~ Now that I know this book wasn’t the end of the series I can look at it in a different mindset. Jasper is really the hero/star of this volume, IMHO, and it was wonderful seeing him again. I still agree that the storyline revolving around Prince Byrne who has been involved in many of the plots throughout this series (the Teacher, Spencer, Erickson) ended rather abruptly. I’ll be very interested to see if the author concludes that in either of the two next books.
A good finish (I think) to the Wolf Creek Pack series. It ended too abruptly for my tastes and I would have liked to experience more of the relationship between Marc and Jasper.
Overall, though, it was a fairly decent story.

Based on the set-up of this story from previous books and the blurb, I was expecting Jasper to be one of those meek, damsel-in-distress, afraid-of-his-own-shadow type characters. I'm so glad I was wrong. Jasper is quite the spunky smart-ass and I love it.
Everything in this series is coming together and setting up for the 'final battle' and it's nice to see some familiar characters again. However, it's been awhile since I read first seven or so books and I was a little confused until I went back and skimmed them, then everything made sense. I can't wait to see what happens next in this series.

It definitely seems like the series is wrapping up, what with everything seeming to lead back to Prince Laront/Erickson. I did find it on the weird side that Jasper 'becomes' a vampire after tasting Marc's blood.. that was never fully explained and I don't think it would be the same as Justin's vampirism. I also would have liked to read more about Jasper's power.

I love this series. It's so complicated with all the different characters, species, and paranormal abilities that I have to write it all down to keep track of it. Marc and Jasper were so sweet together. And we are finally seeing what Lowell E. was up to. Hopefully there will be a book 11 with Sully and Samuel? (fingers crossed).

Plot wise it looks like Ms. Glenn is gearing up for a big showdown to wrap up this series. It was an entertaining read per usual.

I really liked this book. Yes, it is more of a light and fluffy read than other books but I read for enjoyment. The plot is fast and action packed. It is an insta-love but just so enjoyable seeing Marc and Jasper together. The series seems to be amping up for a big showdown. I can't wait to see how Jasper deals with his new life and where the series will go now.

Ok this series is getting to be way too much stuff to keep track of for a guilty pleasures read...too many characters and some with multiple names!! Still some excellent smut though :)

I enjoyed it until the end. I really didn't care for the ending, it was very abrupt. Jasper and Marc are a great couple, and I just love them.
