Quick introduction to what connections we have between people, society, government, norms and institutions and how they work(or don’t) in Russia. Sad to read it 13 years later, when you see which possible decisions country made since the time book was published.

A great book with a lot of remarkable examples based on history, as well as our daily life. It's small, easy to understand and is very well-written.
