Without question, too many curiosity cogs were mysteriously installed on Bangabout Bits first trip down the assembly line. The eleven-year-old clockwork lives in Gizmopolis—a murky place where asking questions is considered perilous business. The city’s powerful elites expect clockworks to just do and never think. But Bangabout’s curiosity can't be contained. So, when Bangabout pokes into events surrounding the kidnapping of his school and starts asking questions, he runs the risk of being dismantled bit by bit and tossed into the city’s even more hazardous sewers.
This imaginative story, packed with nearly one hundred fanciful illustrations, races across a far-flung future, which, truth be told, is not so different from our own. Now available on iTunes.
Christopher Lincoln is the author of the Billy Bones series. He graduated from the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University and spent nearly a decade working as an animator. He credits animation for teaching him how to write, because an animator must learn how to inhabit a character's body and move him in a world of his own.
His work is influenced by creatives and authors such as Charles Dickens, J.M. Barrie, Roald Dahl, J.K. Rowling and Tim Burton.
