Book 4 (of 5): A duel between retro-punk rappers from the white-hot music scene in Las Vegas ends with one of them murdered. The problem for Gil Grissom and his team of crime scene investigators isn't a lack of suspects, it's too many--each with his or her own reason to want Busta Kapp dead. But when the suspects start becoming murder victims themselves, Grissom knows he's got to solve this case in a hurry ... before the victim list goes off the charts!

This is the best of this comic mini-series so far... and there's another dead suspect. If I were a more cynical reader, I'd begin to wonder if there wasn't a serial killer in the Crime Lab! Grissom's smart enough to do it if he wanted to, though of course he wouldn't. One can't deny, however, that all the dead people thus far have been pretty terrible and the world's probably better off without them. Doesn't mean I'm not curious as to who's doing it.
