Short and sexy, yet with enough back story to make the characters real, this short book focuses on Ben and the master he ran away from 3 years ago. Ben has a lot to learn, and some trust to build with Lukas, and one night is just never going to be enough.
Ben didn't run because of abuse, or because he wasn't interested. No, he ran because he was falling for Lukas, and was too scared (due to a bad experience with another master) to let it happen. Now that he is back at the auction house and none other than the man he ran from "buys" his services for the night, he begins to realize he may have made a mistake.
Lukas is the consummate Dom, he knows exactly what he wants, and now that Ben is back, Lukas will not give up. He uses every singe seduction trick in his not inconsiderable arsenal, and it was great fun to see him become more and more determined.
If you like short, hot stories that center around two men figuring out how to make things work beyond the short time they initially committed themselves to, if you like their activities to be just a little kinky, and if you like the idea of a Dom who is determined to show the man he loves they are meant for each other, you will probably like this short book.

I liked Ben very much! He's such a stubborn man, who had actually been hurt in the past and who's had trust issues ever since.
Trust - I think one of the crucial elements of a D/s relationship - is something Master Luke wants to earn from Ben. He knows Ben is strong but also afraid and that's why he's had to find a perfect way to get Ben in his house and in his bed.
What starts as a bet and a struggle of wills, actually ends up a quite interesting BDSM story with good dynamics and very devoted couple of MCs.

Shibari Auction House: Ben is the third short story in the Shibari series by Sean Michael. This series focuses on the activities at a high-end BDSM social club, Shibari Auction House, where subs can offer their services up for auction to the highest bidding Masters.
This particular book in the Shibari series deals with sub Ben and Master Lukas and the renewal of their relationship. Both are experienced in the BDSM life-style and have a history with each other. Ben is looking for a one-night contract, while Lukas is seeking something more exclusive and permanent.
It's been three years since they've seen each other and it's a little disconcerting how Michael deals with the separation. Ben had some trouble in the past with a Master, but that's all the detail Michael provides. Michael never explicitly explains why Ben left Lukas, either. Still, their reunion is interesting to watch. There's definitely chemistry between the two handsome young men; sparks, as well as paddles fly between Lukas and Ben.
The Shibari Auction House series focuses a little too much on the sexual exploits and not enough on the story structure supporting the main characters. Ben is a bartender, but he's sporting designer clothing. How does Lukas afford the substantial bid he places on Ben? Who are the other members of the club? And what about Yves, the owner?
Shibari Auction House: Ben is worth 3 stars. Michael is a fine writer, but this is not one of his best efforts.

After having read the first and the second part of the series, I was very excited to continue with Ben's story and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. The story was again very short, but somehow there was enough background information to make the characters and their interaction credible. 3 stars for this part!

This one was the longest one so far with the most developed story and an epilogue! I loved that there was more kink in this one but the characters didnt really do it for me.

My favorite from the series so far because you really get to connect with the characters and there's some depth in this one. But imagine if they all had been full Novels they had been off the charts!!!!
