Fans of Dragonriders of Pern, particularly teenage fans, will adore this series by a new author!
The storyline is unputdownable, my one criticism being that the pacing occasionally slips; nonetheless it doesn't affect much, and the read is well worth it. You can tell there is a bigger picure behnd it all, as you'll discover in the mindblowing sequel.
You can't go wrong with this read - recommended to fans of the Dragonriders of Pern, and teen fantasy/sci-fi.
