Good:
* Acceptable source of information for anyone who's completely clueless about generating wealth. It highlights the need to set goals, proper planning, and having good attitude.
Bad:
* Some very bad advice, e.g.: the author wrote that one should not waste time in improving one's weaknesses.
* Lack of sources, despite making many outlandish claims, e.g.: the human life expectancy in 2050 is 140 years.
* Sweeping general statements that are of doubtful veracity or just plain wrong, e.g.: if you think negatively of other people's success, you'll never be successful.

I wanna be a billionaire so freakin’ bad. Why? Because…
I want to live a comfortable life.
I want to provide for my family.
I want to buy my own dream house and car.
I want to travel the world.
I want to start my own business.
I want to send street children to school.
I want to organize programs for abandoned elders.
I want to build my own charitable foundation.
I want to adopt two kids and care for them as if they were my own.
My greatest treasures are the people around me, that’s for sure. But let’s be realistic. I need money to be able to give and help more people. So I work hard. And save a lot.

I am fresh college graduate with impending job application. Sometimes it can a scary place to be. My brother-in-law is someone who keep giving me advice every time I visit them. One day he said to me that I should read this, so gave me the book. I was skeptical at first. How I can even be a millionaire? 10% through I put it down. But the 10% I've read kept reverberating since I put it down. So I picked it up again.
This is a moving, inspiring book every young professionals in the Philippines should read. Very enlightening. I love how Bo the tackled the main issue, it's about your internal thinking, your mental drive. How badly do you want it? How badly do you want to succeed? What feeds your hunger?

Book Review #2. 8 Habits of the Happy Millionaire by Bo Sanchez
In 8 Habits of the Happy Millionaire, I think Bo Sanchez is saying, You can be religious AND rich.
Why did I think this is not the case?
Well, I have yet to be friends with a Church tita who earns more than I do.
In one of the parishes I frequent, there have been two titas (on two separate occasions) who gave me their calling cards after introducing themselves to me. But they didn’t ask me out for lunch, so that’s not a friendship, lol.
Bo Sanchez said your financial mindset is more important than your earning capacity. He suggested targeting the subconscious by writing everyday a script where you tell yourself you’re attracting the money you’re yearning for.
Another way is to figure out your core gift (what he calls what you consider as play) is and to hone in on that. Once you figure it out, play within that game. Grow within that game. Reinvent yourself within that game. Don’t be lured out of it.
Most important of all his advices is to develop relationship skills. He only mentioned the interpersonal, but I figured given what I’m dealing with right now, I better hone in the intrapersonal. He also discussed Marketing, which is another relationship skill.
I find this book a relief. It led me to realise that what Jesus said is true: For the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, are plans to prosper and protect you - plans to fulfill your hope of a bountiful and secure future.

I just finished reading this book. When i finished it it was not really a habit he was giving but rather a change of mindset to change our way of thinking aboit money and perspective. Tips on what to do with money and to write your goals adn focus on it. I love the analogy of the money making machines and when i finished it wanted to make money machines asap it made me a sense of direction i want in life but i know im 18 and doesnt have work it makes me more motivated to work on life.

This book was stacked in my shelf for several months now, and i completely forgot all about it, i read several pages before but never entirely read the whole thing, so now i started reading it again and i finished it in 30 minutes, and i felt really good and inspired again!. Bo Sanchez is one of my favourite local authors, and i love the wisdom he imparts in his writing, very motivational, sincere, and inspiring! I especially love Tita Neneng's story right till the end, it was truly heaven sent, and a tear jerker! i can't wait to buy more of his books..in the future.

*-- Another eye-opener to our nation. It's a must read! It really helped me to re-focus my goals in life. Plus, the stories were so inspiring. My favorite was Tita Neneng's and the foreigner's comment about our country. It made me so excited to be wealthy in the future!

Basic read for those looking to start on their financial plans. If you're someone who has no idea on how to start then read this. It painted me the whole picture granted without the tiny details explain but you will get it.
