Gideon and Prue Hale are still married - but try telling that to Prue. Even though no papers have been signed, as far as Prue's concerned it's over. She can never forgive Gideon's betrayal.
When Gideon comes to Maple Hill with an offer to help her get her fledgling clothing design company some publicity, Prue has trouble turning him down. Especially when Gideon is being so nice. There's only one catch - she has to pretend they're still happily married, for his aunt's sake. But while playing her part, Prue realizes she misses Gideon. And might still love him...
Men of Maple Hill Meet the men of this charming Massachusetts town - and the women in their lives.
I found this story stupid, shallow, and unbelievable. I read the entire book because it is compulsively readable, but I had a hard time believing I was reading about adults not much younger than myself, because they behaved like a bunch of 12-year-olds in actions, reactions, and communication. This is the second Superromance I've read that has been a complete dud - maybe this (now defunct) line just isn't for me.
Once again not the best novel ever written or read but it was passable as okay. I don't know what has been happening lately or if I've just run out of novels. The description on all these sounds good and they turn out to be wishy washy.
