The Magic Circle Boxed Set

The blade awaits to save the world… Or bring mayhem, war, and death.

Baard comes of age in a realm of chaos. Invaded by horned warriors, great cities lie in ash and tumbled stone. Where life remains, a curse weaves a dark fog that ravishes people’s eyesight.

Although he dreams of journeys and adventures, Baard must stay to fight bloodthirsty monsters creeping around his village. But when an armed horde snatches Diara, he feels as if his soul has been ripped apart - and his desire to save her drags him into a war he has little chance of winning. Unless he finds a magical sword buried deep in the land of the Darkside.

He may die long before he finds the sword. And if he succeeds, he will bleed.

The Wizard’s Blade is the riveting opener of a complete epic fantasy series.

I started my fiction career in kindergarten when I convinced my classmates that my grandma was a tribal shamaness. Then I learned my letters, and kidding my friends no longer seemed adequate—so I started writing fantasy. That evolved into a lifelong passion, resulting in over ten books and three writing awards.

Apart from publishing two standalone novels and a historical fantasy trilogy, I have fulfilled my childhood dream and completed two epic fantasy series, The Magic Circle and Shattered Empire.

My stories have appeared in numerous publications, and "A Poisoned Gift" received an Honorable Mention in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future Contest. I am Spillwords Author of the Year 2020.

I have lived in six countries and on three continents. While it burned a hole in my bank account, the seminomadic lifestyle has inspired most of my stories and novels. My wife and I have settled in Spain, where I go swimming and cycling whenever I’m not too busy writing and teaching English.

I have long been a fan of P. C. Darkcliff, and the Magic Circle Series is his best yet! The story jumps right into action, and I think this boxed series is wonderful because you can go from one book to the other without having to wait. The Author has taken us on a journey of learning and maturing with Bard (the main character) and s quest of struggle and conquest, with victory always looming, but not quite attained. The characters are well rounded and introduced skillfully. You fall in love with Baard and Diara as if you had always known them, and begin to make yourself at home in the little Village of Icecreek. The Wrathlords are terrifying, well done and easy to despise as you wind your way through dark magic, allies and monsters who keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you wanting more! I absolutely love the personality of the dragon, it added new depth to the story. I can’t wait for the next one. I love this series and highly recommend it for fantasy fans!

The Magic Circle is a journey into the extraordinary. It begins with Baard. He is a simple villager, living a simple life. There is nothing special about him, save for a kind heart. But when his village is attacked, he is forced to become something he never thought he’d be – a hero.
Each book in the series covers a different threat that Baard must face. His resolve is challenged many times throughout the story and each time he proves that a true heroism comes from within. As the saga continues, Baard travels to different lands and meets a host of new characters – both good and bad.

The Magic Circle series has everything a young epic fantasy reader could want – adventure, magic, beasts and battles. It is a great choice for young readers who love Rick Riordan or Kevin Sands.

Magic

I liked the magical world, that had surprise’s around every corner. The intrigue kept me turning pages. Reading longer than I should have. I would recommend this book to everyone who likes magical science fiction writing. I gave it a four rating because it was hard to stop reading.

Baard Thon is a reluctant hero. All he wants is to stay home and get married. Life gets in the way. Baard slays a Wrathlord, and is put into a position of being forced to slay others. Follow his adventures in this 3 novel set.
