For the spring term of 2014, I used Game Changers: Education And Information Technologies , edited by Diana G. Oblinger, as a textbook for the course. The course ITEC 5010, Instructional Technology served as an introduction to the instructional technology field. Game Changers was the second book read in the course, and I believe it helped the learners appreciate developing trends in education. Read more

A nice set of quite interesting and useful cases and examples of using IT in education, especially interesting for those who are not just interested in IT in education but want to change something in his/her own school / college / university etc...

This compilation of essays was recommended to me by a woman I met at a recent ePortfolio conference. I am thinking it might be a good "common read" for our NERCHE group. As it turns, out it is not appropriate. I felt the case studies were rather "lite
