Griffin is an attorney and as evidenced just by virtue of going by her last name is tough, efficient and loyal to her boss, Evan. She keeps him in line, keeps him on time and organized and watches as he works his way through the gold diggers and lovelies he has so many of. Evan is insanely rich, yet appears so boy-like at times. He loves the car outside and can't figure out why no can find the keys. Silly? Spoiled? Yes to both.

Evan and Griffin have a close working relationship, but so far haven't addressed anything personal. I love the idea that when Evan, early in their working relationship, tries to intimidate her with his big physical presence as he does to others, looms over her and she promptly jumps on a chair to continue the argument. This shows she is not easily backing down.

I loved that the sex here is off page. It is more about the romance and the friendship than erotica. It works. This story isn't long, and it's simple and fluffy with likeable characters and a strong female lead.
