John Hazard is back on the trail of danger! After a life-altering event, he has resigned from the police department in small town America and enrolled in a Paranormal Investigation course at Bay University, a community college in San Francisco.

For their final grade, the class ventures to the Pacific NorthWest to film a documentary on a mysterious phenomenon they call “The NorthWest Triangle,” where scores of small aircraft and people have gone missing without a trace.

Professor Macy Renner believes the answer lies in an unsolved mystery from her own past and is determined to discover it, no matter the cost.

Emily Sparks has her own reasons for going, and it’s not just about the money. She is about to jump from the frying pan into the fire as she signs on for a journey that will transport her into the veritable jaws of hell.

Can a rag-tag team of misfits succeed in uncovering the source of the supernatural anomaly, or will the terror that lies in wait consume them in the process?

Come along on an adventure where you will learn that you don’t have to outrun the creatures behind you. You only have to run faster than the person beside you!

If this book had to be made into a big screen movie, I would be running faster than the person next to me to get myself front row tickets for the show. I’m not a fan of science fiction, but having read the first book in this series by the same author, a little over a month ago, I didn’t hesitate to jump right in and tear through “NorthWest” page after adrenaline-spiking page. Once again, JH Glaze did not disappoint. I thought ‘The Spirit Box” was a high-wire suspense read that glued me to the edge of my seat, but “NorthWest” just blew me away!

In the previous John Hazard novel I had difficulty in deciding whether I liked his character or not, as he was a bit rough around the edges. In this book however, John’s character has matured into one I now like considerably more. The transitioning from small town detective to big city PI (Paranormal Investigator) in-training, was skillfully done and a believable explanation was given for his fresh start - one that made complete sense.

The story is made up of a colorful and diverse array of characters, which makes it very entertaining. The first half of the book is spent detailing the characters personalities and giving the reader more insight into their lives and backgrounds. It is done in such a fashion as to by the time the real action starts in the second half of the book, you’re well acquainted with the characters before they meet their inevitable demise - and the suspense just kills you by then, because you know some of the characters are going to die a horrible death, but which ones? That’s when you realize how cleverly the author cornered you into the recurring, yet unavoidable “oh shit” factor.

The first chapter of “NorthWest” serves as an introduction of things to come. And boy is the reader in for quite the ride. While reading the rest of the chapters and getting to know and like the characters, I tried, and failed miserably, not to feel too close to them as the author regularly hints at the horrors to come. This technique builds up and prolongs the suspense and served as a reminder to why I’m so addicted to JH’s writing. He trusts his own intelligent writing as well as the astuteness of his readers, to put two and two together, without the necessity of having to spoon-feed the obvious to them. And just when you think you have it all figured out, he surprises you with yet another shocking twist and a moral dilemma or two!

The subtle, but dark humor scattered throughout the book, is another reason why I love reading this author’s books. You know you’re going to laugh-out-loud somewhere in the book, whether you want to or not, because it catches you off guard and leaves you amazed at how much it adds to the dreadfulness of the situations the characters find themselves in, but also how fittingly true some of it is to our everyday existence.

Overall, “NorthWest” is an impressive, stylishly written novel, which will satisfy many a reader’s taste. Whether you’re a science fiction or horror fan, you’re in for a treat. The author doesn’t mince his words and has no qualms about plunging the reader head first into the deep end of the fear-pool. The monsters in this book are shockingly frightening and will have you think twice before going on that next camping trip into the woods.

“NorthWest” can be read as a stand-alone novel, but because it follows the adventures of John Hazard, I’d strongly advise you to read “The Spirit Box” first and then immediately follow it up with “NorthWest”, so as to fully experience and appreciate the innovative and masterful writing of JH Glaze.

You would think that when you are told that you are going on a two week trip to a forest that you would run into lions, tigers, bears, oh my?! Not for John Hazard and a group of people in a Paranormal Investigative class. Jeff Glaze has done it again. You want suspence and the living daylights scared out of you, then this is the book for you. It kept me interested from page 1. I was scared but had to read more and couldnt put it down!! I absolutely LOVED this book! I thought the Spirit Box was AWESOME, but Jeff outdid hisself with Northwest!! I cant wait to read John Hazard's next GREAT adventure!!
WARNING: This book is NOT for children and teens. Also beware, this is not a book to read while trying to go to sleep!!!! This book is a MUST read!!

OMG!! I though that there would be no way JH Glaze could match the writing that he produced in the Spirit Box...I was wrong!! Northwest takes you on an even faster, higher and scarier rollercoaster of emotions than it's older brother. Northwest grabbed my attention on page 1 and had me begging for more on the last page. This is one of those series that will make you wait up and order the next book as soon as it is available for sale. I know that I am anxiously awaiting the next book. I will download it on my kindle and then buy the paperback, it's that damn good!!

For those of you who really enjoyed the Spirit Box, this one is a real treat! It's even better! Tones of Gore and perfect for those who love thrillers! This guy really knows how to write an action book! This literally kept me on the edge of my seat! You will enjoy reading this one on a rainy afternoon.

I was given an e-copy in exchange for my honest review. This is the second book in the John Hazzard series, but could be read alone. The first book "The Spirit Box" would give you more background on John Hazzard, but doesn't not have to be know to understand and enjoy this book. I have read several books by this author, each time I finish and think "there is no way he is gonna top that" and then I read the next, and he does.

John Hazzard thought that moving and starting a new line of work would help him better cope with the last unbelievable case he encountered. He enrolls into a Paranormal Investigation coarse and has one last grade to pass. All he has to do to graduate is go on a trip to "The North West Triangle" and work on a documentary with his professor and classmates. Seems easy enough. Little does he know, not only was he signing up for an out of this world adventure, but there was a motive behind the professors destination choice. Now John, the camera girl, and his classmates find themselves in the middle of some freaky supernatural stuff and must fight to survive, come hell or high water. Will they survive and pass, or will they have the biggest fail of their lives?

The book does contain adult situations, adult language, and plenty of blood and guts. It is packed with action and will have your heart racing with each turn of the page. Loved this great read and can't wait to see what is to follow next.

Northwest follows the adventures of Detective John Hazard as he continues on his paranormal quest. This is the second book in the series and is just as amazing as its predecessor maybe even better! I couldn’t stop reading this one its amazing, thrilling, a little scary and just makes you sit on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens...
In this book the Detective changes his career path and turns to take a course in Paranormal Investigation. They head into the forests of Northwest hoping to find some paranormal activity only to be deceived! They are faced with creatures far more deadlier than what they were looking for.. Will they survive? Will they make it through? Read on to find out!!
I’d just add one teeny little thing Mr. Glaze’s books have me hooked! He’s been writing on all my favourite things – Paranormal, Mystery, and with this one Aliens!! Can’t wait till the next one!! He's now one of my favorite authors out there and this is definitely turning out to be one of my favorite series!! :D

John Hazzard is an ex-cop who had a bad experience with the supernatural. He is now taking a paranormal investigation class with a bunch of kids with thier own unique problems. Amongst the group is the teacher who isn't sharing everything, a girl with some very special abilities,a camera operator that is on the run from some hit men, you get the idea. The group is heading to the Northwest forest to investigate suspected paranormal activity. They have everything they need except the knowledge about what is really going on. They are woefully unprepared for what they come up against. If you love aliens and spooky forests, you are going to love this book.

NorthWest takes an unlikely group of paranormal investigative students (John Hazard amongst them)into the woods to find out why so many people and aircraft have gone missing over that area of the country. What they find is beyond anyone's worst nightmares. Instead of an interesting field excursion to finish off their paranormal investigation course, they find themselves lost, surrounded, and struggling for survival.

The story builds well and hits a decent pace once the group is in the woods. From that point on the action is constant. It's a fast paced show down all the way to the end. This book held my attention the whole way, I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure!

This book was amazing, I really enjoyed the characters... Well not Marcus really, kinda felt he was a D-Bag.. Is it bad that I was hoping he would be the first to die? lol Him and Macy..

The rest of the characters I was cheering for, found myself getting upset if one was unsuccessful in what they were trying to do or died because of it... My favorite character has got to be John Hazard, the way he fought so hard for Emily was endearing, and what he had to say about Macy was just great! I look forward to reading the next John Hazard novel...

Suspense, Science Fiction and Horror in one package
First part I read from this series, and loved it lots. It gets your interest right from the start, making it more and more unsure how it will all end as the tension grows. Ending up being relieved with the outcome, even though lots of threads stay open to give the writer a possibility to find a nice follow up in the next book in the series. Glad I got to know this writer (was new to me before this book) and looking forward to reading more of the books!

NorthWest was a whole lot better than The Spirit Box. The book had gory parts and more paranormal in it. I was amazed at the detail put into this book I actually could imagine how the aliens were eating the humans and it was creepy. JH Glaze has an amazing imagination and it shows in his writing. I can not wait to read more adventures with John Hazard. Wonderful book, to read if you like the paranormal side of things.

After the first book , I was interested enough to get the second. How do you become a paranormal investor? What could be the next thing to find and fix? Well let me tell you a story. This author weaves together a basket of characters and the flaws or lives of each into a tight knot capable of holding most readers intrest till the end.
I like the fact that this heads into a totally different direction than the last and no overlapping characters. It will stand on its own with no prequel required. Will I read the next? It's a good chance I will!

Fun, unbelievable romp

This book is just fun to read. It's entirely too unbelievable, but that's ok! One of the more unbelievable things for me was how fast these people turned on each other. I mean, they knew each other - not well, but they were classmates - and it just seemed very abrupt. But it was an enjoyable way to waste some time and escape reality, so it's worth the read.

Families of Hikers Silent As Search Abandoned
Umatilla National Forest
Wednesday 6:30 PM PDT

After a small chartered plane went missing
several days ago over the Umatilla National
Forest, a search was initiated for a group of
students from a San Francisco Community
College. Unnamed sources revealed that the
group was allegedly destined for a two week
field trip to complete their class.

Local pilot groups and forestry officers launched
A massive search covering 1200 square miles of
rough terrain. With no sign of the students, the
search has been abandoned.

Names of the missing have been withheld
pending notification of family members and
forestry officials have been reluctant to discuss
details of the incident.

Family members who have already been notified
have begun arriving at the Umatilla National
Forest Supervisor’s Office in Pendleton, Oregon.
So far the group has remained sequestered from
all media outlets and have offered no comment
on the missing students or the mysterious
details surrounding the nature of their disap-
pearance.

College officials have declined all requests for
comment or interviews.

IT WAS A FIELD TRIP TO DIE FOR

Have your running shoes on!!! And no caffeine needed… (to stay awake that is)

John Hazard returns once again of course, as he embarks on his next adventure in NorthWest.. As John and 6 other students venture into the ragged forests known as “The NorthWest Triangle”, where multiple small planes and scores of people have gone missing without a trace.

As their final grade for the Paranormal Investigation course they are enrolled in, they are to film a documentary on this mysterious phenomenon. Their professor feels the answers are to be found in an unsolved mystery from her past; she’s bound and determined to solve it!!! NO MATTER THE COST.

The tension from all the events, and very nerve racking points throughout this segment kept me so engrossed, and riveted to every page. So very interesting, and yes I was doing the guessing game once again right along with the rest of you!!! (which I find myself doing a lot with this series)

So much action piled, and crammed into the signature of craziness, that solely belongs to the talented JH Glaze’s NorthWest for us to devour and have the hibbie jibbies scared out of us once again.. :-s but that’s what a mystery/suspense is for right????

And OMGoodness when they encounter the aliens, and I’m just not talking about normal aliens, (if there’s such a thing) but heck NO!!!! They are man eating aliens… RUN for your lives. (hence the running shoes needed mentioned at the beginning)

I absolutely loved NorhtWest; actually better then book 1 (The Spirit Box)… each installment of the adventures of John Hazard seem to be getting better in my point of view!! Although “The Spirit Box” was a unique, amazing novel on it’s own. So don’t take me wrong on that last statement please. The scary level of the paranormal continues, and has you sitting or laying which ever the case may be on the edge of this book.

Such a scary, gripping story. Awesome book once again! I can’t wait for the next installment “Send No Angel” to come out soon.

Well done JH Glaze!! You are truly a crazy, talented master of the paranormal mystery… You didn’t let us down with this quirky, creepy, suspenseful and yes witty too novel…

My recommendation: 18 and up

My rating: 5/5 angel stars

So I never read blurbs, ever. I stick to authors I know or a cover I like or some such random thing. Blurbs I've learned will rather putt me off the book than attract me to it. I know, I am weird. Given.
This book was not the exception. I only read the blurb now when I started on the review. I read the blurb so that I know how much of the plot the author is willing to give away.
So, why mention this, simple. I've read one book and one short story by this author. Based on that alone, I would have read this book. Have I known the true subject matter, I would have been very, very nervous to start the book. In my entire reading life, I've only come across one author who could actually pull this off. Ok, now it is two authors.
This is an action packed book with twists and turns that will leave the reader breathless! I loved the chasing scenes. Trust me. It is weird to love chasing scenes' first off many of the scene's seem to run the same course and end up irritating me as a reader. Not these. They are true to life, wrought with human frailty and pure adrenalin based. In one word. Brilliant. As the author so expertly put it, you do not need to be the fastest runner; you only need to run faster than the slowest……
John Hazard is back ladies and gentlemen. His previous John Wayne attitude in The Spirit Box has morphed and he is gaining character traits which not only makes him a brilliant character but also one with whom the reader can identify better. Don’t get me wrong, I am no Ex Marine, Ex MP, Ex Detective Ex, ex ex. I am me. But the choice he makes is human, well thought through and his leadership capabilities are never forced. This for me alone made him a much more rounded character than he was in the previous book.
When I started the book, I went and googled the Pacific NorthWest, don’t ask why. But it is a stunning piece of earth and I enjoyed paging through the images on Google. Now that I am done with the book I have to say that I am astounded at the sheer brilliance of JH Glaze. He managed to make a place I've ever only heard of and seen photos off seem so entirely foreign that I would now think twice before EVER accepting an invite to the region. Thank you Jeff, for adding a new phobia…. Lol. Brilliantly done though.
So again, back to the blurb. Read it, it has all the things in it you need to know to make you want to jump for joy at reading the book. I am not going to give away the plot. One thing is for certain, with each book JH Glaze glamour and amazes me. He is truly the new king of horror.
I give this book an 8 ******** review. It kept me riveted and rooting for the characters to please, please run faster. It does not have the same irony that was so prevalent in the first book. Instead it had something else entirely. Heart stopping action. To you dear autor, I bend the knee and shout "I am not worthy. I am not worthy. I am scum………. Muah

I received a free cop of this book from the author in exchange of a honest review. Thank you so much!

I really loved this book! Though “NorthWest” is the second volume in the “John Hazard” series, and I didn’t read the first one, I didn’t have any problem. The book can be read alone, and I loved this thing. A good author is an author that can make you understand his/her book even though you didn’t read the previous one. Yeah, I am saying that JH Glaze is a very good author.

I found the story very good.I liked the storyline, because it’s easy to followand also entertaining. The story is also ver special and original. A story with aliens? Yeah, you could say that there are milions of stories with aliens in the world, but I’ve never read a book with aliens THAT good. And, what I appreciated the most,is that Jeff created different aliens. His imagination amazed me every moment. I wish I could have his imagination. I will never ever see the aliens like I saw them before reading this book: just some green , little and weird “humans”. But after I read Glaze’s book, I think about them just as bugs with human legs.Creepy.

“NorthWest” is the kind of book that keeps you hooked from the very first page until the last one. You can find lots of suspense in this book and if you are searching to give you creeps, well you found the right book. This book was so scary at times that I even had a nightmare with an alien from this book.Every scary moment in the book was so well described that you felt like you were watching it.This made me think that “NorthWest” would make a great film. One of those movies that you are watching with a pillow in you arms and scream “Don’t go there, don’t go there!”.

The characters are very well portrated. They are real, just normal people with strange abilities and strange stories. Normal, huh? My favorite characters is John (obviously) and Emily. I totally disliked and kind of hated Macy for what she did. I liked very much that the author presents you the characters first. This helped me a lot, since I didn’t read the first book, but I surely do it in the future. I want more of John Hazard and more of JH Glaze’s amazing style writing!

Even if I say that this book is soooo good, you can’t really imagine how good and how full of everything a book needs to be an amazing book it is. You just have to read it to know how awesome it is. So go, buy it , read it and then tell me your oppinion, since I told you mine.
After all, I recommend this book with the biggest pleasure. Every SF reader has to read it!

"NorthWest" by J H Glaze is an amazing sequel to "Spirit Box". The latter was a complete surprise hit for me and I am stunned that the author could change direction as much as he did with this sequel and still achieve the same level of entertainment. This promises a hugely versatile repertoire of things to come from this gifted writer.
John Hazard, the main character from "Spirit Box", returns. He has given up his profession as Police Detective in order to investigate supernatural incidents instead. He and a crew of documentary makers fly into the NorthWest of the US to investigate mysterious plane disappearances in the area, where an alien species has landed.
Glaze has collected a marvellous cast of amusing and distinct characters to unite on the flight up NorthWest.John Hazard is a great lead but there are some show stealing secondary participants in this book which make for a great read. I am not one for Alien stories but Glaze pulls it off very well, I think mainly because - as in "Spirit Box" - he treats these elements as natural parts of the plot instead of relying on them. We want to know what happens to the people because they are so well written. Other, lesser authors, may rely on the shock or wow effect of the Aliens or the spirits or whatever the theme of their book is.
That being said, the handling of the Alien plot is done in way that was new and felt innovative to me, written in a way that crosses wildlife programme voice-overs with actual Alien thinking. The plot is unpredictable and there are so many sub plots in the mix - due to the colourful cast - that there are several possible ways out, making this another compelling read.
I hate to write such euphoric reviews without bringing it down a notch somewhere in the middle but this was quite exceptional.

I received this book from the Author for an honest review.

Although this isn't my usual read, I went into the book with an open mind hoping to be entertained. I was definitely entertained! Although the beginning was a bit of a jump around as you met each of the characters and got a glimpse into their lives, this smoothed out once they all came together for the trip up North. Action packed, gruesome and nail biting is how I would sum up this story that will have you running along with the characters in a fight for their freedom. This is an alien adventure that you hope never, ever comes to pass.

John Hazard is studying to be a paranormal investigator after his run in with the supernatural back in Idaho. He felt new surroundings and a new job would help him put the other nightmare behind him. When he signed up for a Paranormal class at the local Community College he never realized he signed on for more than just learning how to use some pretty nifty tools. With his Professor, who has a secret of her own, and his fellow classmates, he sets off for a 2 week investigation into the wilderness where missing people are mounting up. A last minute addition to their group, Emily, joins them to document the investigation on film. Even before they land, the group is faced with a Nightmare not even John could have ever prepared himself for. Now it is a battle of wits that face the group of students as they run from an almost certain death. The only questions is, can they run fast enough?

This was a great story and it makes you wonder what the Author has for his own nightmares to come up with something like this! Definitely will be following the John Hazard series in the future!

JH Glaze is a master of words, working hard to be a new master of horror. The Spirit Box literally knocked my socks off, and I was immediately hooked. Naturally it was inevitable that I would move on to book two, Northwest. John Hazard was introduced in The Spirit Box and was an intriguing character that was easy to relate to because of Glaze's professional take on crafting a character with moxy.
Character development is a talent that Glaze has definitely worked to perfect, and he is coming very close to perfection. John Hazard moves from regular detective to paranormal detective in the second book, and still I can see him in a gritty PI office. Film noir is how I picture the office that Mr. Hazard will some day open. Hazard is not the only star of this show though, there is a full cast, including Emily who I think, I think may be a love interest and a future star in book three. Remember, I hate to give a spoiler. Hazard must take some courses before he can officially hang out his PI shingle, and there is where the story comes from.
The story is an adventure with plenty of action and a modicum of suspense. I have to say modicum because there is just one tiny aspect of the story that did not appeal to me. While I grew up on a steady diet of the original Star Trek, the original Star Wars movies, and John Carpenter's The Thing at this stage in my life, it takes a lot to make aliens interesting. Shoot, spoiler alert - there are aliens in this book. That said the story is fresh, and Glaze presents it superbly with a smooth plot that flows steadily and true to the direction he is aiming. I won't lie, I have my copy of Send No Angel, book three in the series and will be reading it as soon as I possibly can. So yes I am a JH Glaze fan and proud of it!

NorthWest by JH GLAZE
I don't know how the author does it, but I'm intrigued and disgusted at the same time. Especially in this second book in the John Hazard series. I just want everyone to know that I'm creeped out by the ending so forewarning everybody! JH Glaze has done a marvelous job of intertwining stories from each of the characters and their perspectives to bring together this fascinating read. The story line is very well written and flows flawlessly. I was so enamored by what was going on I had to finish it even though it is 12 at night while I'm writing this, hoping I will not be dreaming of those creatures that he wrote in this book. ICK! I love how the characters grow and expand before your eyes, especially Em and John! I can't wait to see what Luck has in store for them! This is not my typical read. I usually read YA Books or Romance or whatnot, but I read SpiritBox and loved the darkness that it provided and how the character comes to grip with the supernatural things going on around him.

The story starts where SpiritBox left off. John is going to school to become a paranormal detective instead of just a regular one. He is in a class and fixing to go on a field trip where weird things are happening. John and his classmates are thrust into a grip-defying and life-threatening encounter with otherworldly creatures. Will they make it out alive? I took my time reading this book because I didn't want to miss a minute of what was happening. I was on the edge of my seat. I give this book 5 star review!

NorthWest
The Paranormal Adventures of John Hazard Book II

NorthWest is the sequel to The Spirit Box, and combines elements of supernatural horror and science fiction in a fantastic tale of survival.

After everything John Hazard went through with the Spirit Box, he resigned from the police force and is now part of a Paranormal Investigation course at Bay University, a community college in San Francisco. As part of their final grade, the professor has organised a field trip to “The NorthWest Triangle”, an area where many people and small aircrafts have disappeared.

The book starts by introducing you to all the characters, and it was difficult to keep up, until it all started coming together. Well written and fast paced, I much preferred this to the authors earlier book “The Spirit Box” – though couldn’t say if this was down to the storyline or characters, both aspects are incredibly well thought out.

Once they are all thrown into danger, the book gives a real insight into how people would act in a life or death situation, as disturbing as some of the thoughts are – who would you put at the back of the line in case they were caught and eaten?

With non-stop action throughout, the book will keep you gripped and you’ll want to carry on reading to see how things end (even if you are hiding behind a pillow during parts).

I really enjoyed the book. It flowed well and is a great Sci Fi piece!

The first half of the book is a bit hard to follow because there are so many characters doing so many different things. Once they all come together and the story line ties them all together the book picks up nicely.

While I was reading this book I kept thinking about those badly made SyFy movies with poor plots and worse acting. When I watch those I always think, "I could write a better story than that." Well this would be it. It is that great Sci Fi story of people in the woods being hunted by creatures. It is well written and well developed. I wish the SyFy movies were more like this book.

I love that the story is Aliens and not just a deep woods creature that has been overlooked by the world. It really adds to the mystery of the mystical triangles all over the world. The creatures sound almost like spiders to start sound more like something that we can't understand on Earth, which adds to the Alien story.

The one thing I didn't care for was the way the women are written. Cold and unfeeling, then when in danger they come off as fragile. Overall I loved the suspense and science fiction aspects of the story.

First off I want to say that I am hooked on the John Hazard series so far. This is the second book that I have read from Hazard and am anxiously waiting on the third book.

Being a Marine Corps veteran it was real nice to see an author add our military into his work. Thanks Jeff.

The twists and turns in this book were unexpected through most of the book. This book is definitely a way of the author to show off his love of paranormal mystery in his work. I was definitely accepting a different outcome of this book.

Starting out a group of students were going on a "Final Project" trip to do some research and investigation, which was a personal trip for the instructor. Looking at the start of the group I honestly thought that the group would have been better co-existent but that definitely was not the case. The ending had me literally jumping on the edge of my seat due to excitement. I was like a giddy school kid in a candy store haha. I'm not going to say too much in the review because I don't want to give the story away but this is definitely a must read!!!!

On to another of JH's books for me!!

Thrilling adventure, comedy, romance, & true fear!!!
This was my first J H Glaze read, & I really liked it!! These characters whisk you away on their adventure without even blinking. But it's the true fear that follows that is pure greatness! These creatures get inside your head & don't let go! I was thinking about them for days!! o-O
All the while Glaze is still able to add plenty of comedy & a tad of romance to the mix. ;-) It was nothing like I expected (in a good way)! It is action packed to say the least! I can even see my husband reading & enjoying it. (And he is not a reader if that helps at all.) ;•} I absolutely love John Hazard & Emily's characters. What amazes me is how well J H Glaze told this fast paced, action packed, thriller without losing me anywhere along the way! I found myself feeling all of their dread, fear, joy, & it made me laugh with them, cry with them, want to scream with them! It is very well written!! This is a MUST READ if you're looking for something new & exciting to read!!! :) I look forward to the sequel!

Ever since witnessing The Spirit Box in action, John Hazard hasn't been the same. I suppose no one would be. Mr. Hazard decides its time to take a step back, reevaluate what he thought existed and see what else is out there. Little did he know that one little paranormal class would open up more than he expected! Now, I'm usually a little skeptical on series that continue with one character. But, I think this one is even better than The Spirit Box!! Its amazing! It focus's more on John Hazard and his character, and even...a love interest!! *gasp* (hehe) I loved it! I now want to read more about Mr. Hazard and his journey into the paranormal world! Mr. Glaze, I bow to you! John Hazard has now become one of my favorite characters!! Thank you for the opportunity to read these amazing stories! And for writing them! Can't wait to read more!! 5 of 5 stars all the way!

The author did it again. The plot of this book will keep the reader turning the pages for more action packed details. This is another book I can add to my list of favorites. I love book where I can't guess what's going to happen. After reading The Spirit Box.. this book continues the adventure with the detective: John Hazard. He's ramped up and ready to roll in this page turner. A group of people go out in the wilderness looking for any paranormal activity and came across something one would see in their dreams. Each person has their own reasons for wanting to go but by the end of the read each of these plans are revealed.

If you like action, gore, and a read that will leave you wanting more... I'd say this is the book you're looking for.

I was given this book by the author in return for an honest review.

Having not read the first book, I wasn't 100% certain if I would have enough understanding of the story, but it was easy :)
I love how the author gives a small back ground to each of his character's, It seem's to make them more "real".
A very gripping read from start to finish, Action packed with aliens a hint of paranormal an a NEED for survival.
This is an exceptionally well written book.
I can't wait to read more by this author as this book had me well and truly gripped
