my god—but this was lovely!

i cooed and snuffled and curled up like a shrimp under the covers nearly the entire way through, and when i wasn't i was laughing my head off and/or wishing i still lived with people who loved me.

just wonderful.

So many heartwarming, beautiful, amazing things in this story: Draco’s viewpoint, to start with. His personality. His desperation. His reflections of what happened during the war. His thoughtfulness. His spectacular sense of humor. Then the magic (the cloud, the Conjuring spells) – magic is a living thing.
"Nice cloud." Draco tensed. Potter was standing right next to him. Draco looked up and sneered.
"You like it? Have some." Draco's hand shot up and grabbed Potter's forearm. The cloud reacted immediately: it stretched above Potter and spat copious amounts of rain at him.
Potter spluttered but, to Draco's distress, he was laughing.

Draco’s protectiveness of Goyle was nice, and Goyle’s character’s quite entertaining.

Just as Harry and Draco, Hermione and Ron were also kept true to their character, and Hermione being charge of the tower’s passwords was a hilarious plus.

Sweet and delightful story. Highly recommended.

Adorable, even if it didn't have any sense ;)
I have a soft spot for this author, obviously. I read four stories written by her and everytime I'm delighted. Writing style, the way she leads the plot and characterisation of MC's - each element which consist for the story is great. Very close to my perfect drarry fic. Funny, engaging and sweet. That's what I'm usually looking for when I'm in the mood for HP/DM ^-^

Yeah, I'm a sugar addict and I don't care :P

This was such a sweet, well-written one shot!

THE PREMISE: Draco has a cloud stuck around his head that turns to sunshine when Harry kisses him.

TROPES & VIBES:
- 8th year Drarry
- “Oh no, we have to kiss for ~reasons~”
- Goyle being adorable
- Low spice E

Another nearly perfect, sweet and silly Drarry fiction by Faith Wood. I love this writer to pieces for her stories about Draco and Harry. The chemistry is soo good, I am just addicted. I also adore her for an Hogwarts where the members of the different houses REALLY are portrayed as equally interesting and worthy, something which I did not think Rowling did very thoroughly (okay, Snape was the exception ...).

This has all the comforting Hogwarts atmosphere and banter and rain and grudging vulnerability I was looking for, and wonderful writing to boot, with that original HP vibe. Excellent stuff.

"I want you to help me. It's what you do, isn't it? You seem to repel Dark magic. Or something."

I've read this a couple times and I really do enjoy it. Draco accidentally summons a cloud. It follows him around, raining on him, even produces lightning. Draco is angsty during seventy five percent of the story and Harry tries to help. I love Draco and Harry both in this fic, which rarely ever happens. Definitely one of my favorite Drarry reads.

Potter was already turning around. He stared at the cloud, looking as though someone just told him he had failed his Defence Against the Dark Arts exam.

Potter's glasses were as crooked as his smile, his breath hot against Draco's lips.
"That should keep your dry for a few hours."

Potter felt so warm and solid, Draco dizzily wondered if Pomfrey would let him use Potter as a protective blanket instead.

AHHHH THIS WAS SO WHOLESOME. Took secret relationship and tied it in with hidden feelings in the form of a cloud. 😍 This was so well-written, it flowed very well and the idea is so so cute. THE CHEMISTRY. My favourite line: "Oh, forget about the stupid cloud." It's hilarious in the story's context. Very spicy near the end. THE PATRONUS THING, ABSOLUTELY ICONIC. THE ENDING LINE IS EVERYTHING 😭😭😭

Ooh, I loved this. I'm not too sure how I feel about how Harry is written, he's a bit too cocksure and flirty I think - but otherwise I loved it a lot.

This was a little silly and unrealistic, but it was also adorably sweet and just so much fun to read that I couldn't help but love it.

This is another post-DH story, but this one has several characters returning for an "8th" year at Hogwarts to get ready for their NEWTs. But since there are fewer of them, all 8th years share a common room and have their own dormitories also.

The thing that didn't work for me so well was Harry's initial decision to kiss Draco wasn't sufficiently explained and seemed ooc.

The things I loved about this: the separate house for the 8th years, the adorable rain cloud, draco's character here: surprised and humbled by the way the others treat him, draco's character development, how sweet Harry and Draco are together.

So, so fun!

This is just so cute. Pacing is a bit off; scenes go by a bit too quick, the romance feels rushed, and the sudden ending back-handed me across the face. But overall, great idea, fun narration, and interesting dialogue.
(I'm still a bit flummoxed at how this is the highest-rated drarry fic on ao3. Not that it isn't great. But like... Huh.)

Spoilers ahead!

Notes:
- Incredibly, the first fic I've read where Draco is still friends with Goyle.
- Perfect amount of Malfoy sass
- I don't know why but I'm in love with the idea of Draco nearly overdosing on Calming Draught, going into a coma, flooding the common room with his nightmares, scaring everyone shitless, getting slapped by Hermione, and then eventually being shaken awake by Harry.
- I love the cloud acting like a mood ring. This makes for great revelations, especially when it comes to secretive, reserved (or, heaven forbid, haughty) types like Draco. He's getting EXPOSED.
- The kiSS MY LORD it came out of nowhere
- i think Harry's watching Draco with his patronus... That would also be a great way to boost his mood from afar!
- I'm just waiting for a scene where someone's able to track Draco down, and he's confused until they reveal that they just followed the trail of water. (This didn't happen. Damn.)
- The stag patronuuuusss <3 Just love Harry's reaction
- Oh, man! Such a sending ending :(

It was delightful, the writing was so very good and soft and touching. I really loved this story, and I will happily start to read the other stuff that the author wrote.
It ended maybe a little quickly, I don't know, I was expecting another scene. But otherwise, I really loved this story, everything was implied, we were never told anything, and that's powerful.
It gave me soft feelings and I'm all for it
