Sheila Seabrook writes love stories with heart and humor from her home on the beautiful Canadian prairies. Her romantic books are filled with smart, sassy women, hot men who love them, and a wild assortment of family members guaranteed to try to steal the show.

When Sheila's not writing, she can usually be found in her favorite chair doing research (code for reading romance books) or devising multiple excuses to avoid cooking, laundry, housework, and shoveling the snow. She does, however, love to shop for flowers in the spring, and spends copious hours digging in the dirt to plant them…although her marriage contract clearly stipulates that the man of the house must pull the weeds.

Her mission in life is to give readers emotional romantic stories and unforgettable characters, a relaxing treat for the end of the day. And if she can help them escape the laundry pile, she's totally on board.

Parenting a teenaged daughter can sometimes be a challenge but when that daughter is a mischievous ghost named Naomi who nobody else can see, well, it's enough to make Liz Templeton question her sanity. Add a mysterious curse, a couple of meddling relatives, and a hunky ex who's suddenly back in town, and you've got a fast-paced, feel good story about family, loyalty, and love. I especially enjoyed Ms. Seabrook's fresh take on ghostly existence and the clever and unexpected twist that wrapped it all up in a satisfyingly happy ending. Wedding Fever is a wonderful story that left me smiling and wanting more, more, more!

Wedding Fever is the quirky story of Liz Templeton, her ghostly teenage daughter Naomi, and her ex-husband Mitch. It was a delight to watch the machinations of Liz’s mother and former mother-in-law as they planned to re-unite the estranged couple.

Liz and Naomi share their lives but also share a loneliness that only Mitch can fill. Liz is terrified that if shares her ghostly secret with Mitch he will bolt and run. What she doesn’t realize is that Mitch is determined to be a part of her life again.

Seabrook writes a fast paced, moving story, but for me this one ended too quickly.

Family dynamics and sweet romance. The teenage daughter ghost is both clever and poignant. Charming and quirky characters. Very satisfying read.

Fairly good little supernatural novella. I did not realize it was part of a series, and I probably would have enjoyed it more if I had more background on the characters and setting.

Someone Call the Ghostbusters.

I don't think I read the entire synopsis before I started reading the book so when I actually read the first few pages (not the prequel because I was confused too).

Liz and Mitch used to be married until something tragic happened and she lost her baby. She mourns in the most interesting way - her daughter Naomi, now 15, is still around but now just in temporal form.

There's a teenage ghost in this? What?

Naomi is a ghost, yes, but her actions have an effect on the real world. Mysterious magazine pages turning by themselves, half-eaten cookies sitting there, people tripping on their feet as though something was there...

Their mothers want grandkids so they try to get them together with silly ploys. Mitch returns home to find treasure in a lake that supposed to kill Liz's father.

That is literally the plot of this. Oh Liz tries to kill Mitch because she's a ghost that can effect people. And because of plot.

Yeah, no.

I don't know what the point of this book is and I don't care enough to find out. I think the prologue of Baby Fever didn't help set the mood of the book since I was confused by the opening pages and anything after that didn't convince me to keep reading.

2 for Effort. I don't have quotes jotted down for this.

So actually wedding fever's main theme was romance ,but extreme romance actually for me I didn't like it that much cuz it only contained repeating chapters about 3 different characters describing in each chapter a problem of one of the characters about their love and such stuff but it wasn't that bad it was ok

Ghosts

I'm not sure what about this was supposed to be romantic but constantly lying to the woman you love isn't one of them. And it closely resembled stalking when you promise to leave her alone and than minutes later when she agrees tells her you won't.

A strange book. Mixing alive an dead people is creepy.
A woman talks all the time to her dead daughter and doesn't think it's weird?
No, I don't think so.
My real rating is 2,5 stars.
