This was some read. With all the drama and fighting going on, my head won't stop spinning. In Already Taken, the story revolves around two friends Fallon and Shantries. Both Fallon and Shantries are involved with men who they want and long for them to change their ways. Fallon's man, Cash, can't stay away from the streets. This cost him his relationship with Fallon. But now that he is back with her, he wants to really change and keep her. But of course nothing is ever that easy. Throw Cash's brother, Strap in the mix, and here comes more drama. Strap works under his brother and also finds himself in love with Fallon. This love triangle got a little messy, especially when things done in the dark comes to the light.
Shantries' man, Outlaw, seems to can't keep it in his pants. Between his rotation from Shantries to his daughter's mother, Kaleesha, he is unable to keep his lies straight. However, once Blaze comes into the picture for Shantries, all hell broke loose.
Definitely got my money's worth with this story as both females are already taken, but when unforeseen events and men take over, everything changes for them. And of course, there was a cliffhanger that makes you want to scream, wait! what happens next and who got shot. I guess more will be revealed in book 2. This was a good street lit for me.

I must start this review off by saying this is a must read Already Taken is the best book to be released this summer (2012). Follow Cash, Fallon, Strap, Shantreis, and Outlaw to find out what happens when love, lust, and greed play a part in their lives.

Shantreis soon realizes she wants more than just late nights with Blaze, but there is just one problem Blaze money is not as long as Outlaw. So what is Shantreis to do?
I will not give the story away so you will have to read it and see the twist and turns in the story, and the ending that will have you shocked. I could not stop reading once I started the story; each page had me wanting to know what was going to happen next with the couples.
I loved the way the story was written and how well the characters were developed. The end leaves you wanting to know what will happen next. For this to be the Love Lee first book it was well written. I can't wait for part 2 to be released, so Love Lee if you read this review PLEASE hurry with the sequel. I think this is the best book to be released this summer, so I gave it five stars.

This was a great book....i think i enjoyed it most because i can tell the person who wrote this is from my home state...she talked about cities from around where i'm from...like Raleigh, Zebuon, Durham...she even started off the story in Crabtree mall...she really gained my interest when i noticed that...but on to the story...i was definitely team Cash...i understood his brothers feelings but really thought by the end of the story he should have been a non factor...but i guess every story has a twist...but im hoping it ends in Cash favor...

Wow!!!!Drama on top of drama,this was great read from the beginning to the end,The ending was a cliffhanger so I am definitely looking forward to part2 I need to know what will happen next with all of the characters.I would definitely recommend this book if high drama is your thing..Great Job Love Lee

I stayed up all night trying to finish this book, i started the book a few weeks ago and had to put it down due to other things going on but im happy i picked it back up! At first I thought that the book had started off a little slow, like i didnt see the "WOW" factor in it but im happy i decided to keep reading. This new author did a really good job of painting the picture of each of the characters. The reader got a sense of who each character was and what they were about before the drama came out and shocked you.
Fallon and Shantreis are friends and they both know how it is to be wifey of a drug deal, sometimes you can handle everything that comes with it and other times people are just not built for that kind of life. These two best friends struggle with their decisions of being a dope boy's wifey and how it will effect their lives. Not only do these two have to deal with those decisions thier are also people in their life who know they are taken but still want these women to be a part of their lives regardless of the outcome.
I read this on my nook so th ebook had over 700 pages but it was a fast paced read, once you got into the story you was into it. There was so much drama going on and twists!! The twists were crazy i had to reread a few parts because i was like wait did that just happen. You can tell the author took her time when she sat down to write this novel. I hope she does not have us wait too long for part 2 I cant wait to see whats going to happen next.

So many of the lovely laddies in my book clubs were raving about this book and being that they are avid readers like myself, they know a banger when they read one. Despite the fact that I have 100s of unread books on my kindle, I was determined to 1-click "Already Taken". To my surprise I had already been gifted this book by the author Love Lee and I had no idea that it was the same book. As soon as I started reading it, it held my attention. I even had to make myself stop reading and go to sleep bc I was so into it. "Already Taken" is filled with all the elements that make up a great urban lit story...drama, deceit, betrayal, greed, love....I found myself hating characters that I thought I loved and loving characters that I thought I hated. When I reached the end I kept trying to see if there was another page bc the author really left us with a suspenseful ending. Trust that I will be one of the first in line ready to 1-click pt 2!!!

Already Taken by Author Love Lee is an excellent book with a great storyline.
The character names are different that I ever seen and fits the character very well. Each character also has an AKA name. The story line flows very well and will keep your interest from the beginning to the end of the story. This book has it all Drama, Greed, Love, Deception and Secrets and did I say DRAMA. There is so much drama. Just when I thought I had it figured out, I was wrong.
If you are looking for a great read with lots of drama this book is definitely for you. A great book discussion.

When I read a snippet of this book, I knew than that I had to have it. Once it dropped I hurriedly one-clicked it. I beging reading that night and could not stop. This book had me up all night and in a very good way. It had my full attention. It was full of love. lies, betrayal and murder and I can't forget it had a perfect hood love story. I really enjoyed this book and I'm pretty sure you will too. Great Job Love Lee. I can't wait for part 2. Peace and blessings.

My first read from the author and I must say I'm impressed. The story line was good. I liked Fallon's character in the beginning ehh not so much at the end. The other characters were fully developed. I enjoyed being kept on the edge of my seat from all the twist and turns in this story. About I start part 2!!!

I enjoyed this book so much and I was mad as hell when it ended! I can't wait for the sequel. The book was written very well and flowed nicely. I felt as if I knew each character personally! Great job!!!

This is probably the best hood love book ever. I love everything about this book. Trust that you will not be disappointed. I seriously can't wait for part 2. It's suppose too come out early 2013.

This book is filled with drama & twists. I really enjoyed the storyline. Fallon came off as a goody to shoe but really is a mess hunny.
