“Wow - what an amazing job Tiffany has done. There wasn't a moment that I wasn't engaged with the characters or the plot. The build up of mystery and tension in this suspenseful romantic novel is superbly done. I found myself constantly holding my breath and nervously listening for creaks in the house. There were some beautifully crafted romantic moments that had me swooning for Dylan, and several moments when I shed a tear. Stunning! The novel flowed very well, effectively creating a good balance of suspense, character interaction and the lovely romance. The ending. Oh my! Tiffany, what an ending you have created. I have no idea what to expect for book two, Obsession and Sacrifice, other than I can not wait to read it. And no doubt it will be as wonderful as The Impostor.” -Becky Johnson, Bex and Books

"‎I loved the suspense of The Impostor. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the Obsession and Sacrifice! I love Dylan and Nicole. The love story is like a fairy tale!"
- Amy Barnhouse

The Impostor, A Love Story is the first novel in a suspenseful romantic trilogy about unexpected love and a woman’s fight for survival. It is a captivating story of growth, acceptance, and the perseverance to begin again.

“Alaska? Who goes to Alaska?” Nicole, a young single mother, escapes an abusive ex-boyfriend and leaves behind the broken dreams of becoming an artist. She travels to Alaska, a place she knows little about, on a journey of self-discovery.

Nicole is scared of getting hurt again, but Dylan’s chiseled body, chocolate-brown eyes and charm captivate her. She begins to fall in love. In Alaska, she discovers the power of friendship and true love and starts to let down her guard. But is her security a facade?

Soon Nicole’s innocent beauty taunts a sinister man, and she is caught in a web of deception and danger. Someone evil is stalking her. Someone she had trusted. Will she be saved? Or will she be hunted?

“Knowing that the story has a basis on the author’s experience brings the world into an eagle eye view. This book offers a great deal of social significance and insight into the ideals and dreams of women, as well as the fears and struggles. It’s not just a romance. It’s not just a mystery. It’s about growth, acceptance and having the spirit to continue when the horizon shows nothing but dark clouds and lightening. Life is Chaos, but it can be beautiful too, if you have the persistence and determination to see it through. If you like Nora Roberts’s mysteries, you will love Tiffany Carmouché. ” Aleta OBrien, Fleur De Aleta

"The Impostor is an amazing novel about Courage, Faith, Love and the will to survive. Nicole is one of the strongest female characters I've ever read about. She inspires you to keep going but at the same time, lets you see that even in the hardest situations, it's good to open yourself up to new things. There's nothing better than a great love novel, but Tiffany Carmouché made it way more interesting adding suspense, action and tragedy. This is a must-read. You won’t be disappointed." Dann Barba

"I LOVED IT! It was great to see how the main character grew as a person—mistakes, unexpected love and all. The suspense pulls you forward and keeps you up at night. The men are steamy too (which never hurts)!" –Rocky Guzman

"Nicole had a vivacious personality, and her enthusiastic desire for adventure was believable. Tiffany did a nice job of portraying Nicole's vulnerability as a young mother desperate to provide her daughter a better life. She did a nice job with the settings. She took advantage of Alaska's scenic landscape, and provided well-crafted descriptions.

I do not know whether I should be awed by the thrilling story plot or the swooning romance. Not many authors can pull through a good thriller, especially something as nail biting as this one, but I have to admit that every ounce of my being was spooked, psychopaths are my favorites!

To properly start off my review, The Impostor will set your heart on a race, not only because you are falling for the male characters, but because the "goriness" and the "feeling of being stalked" was perfectly described that it felt real enough. With my lights on and curtains drawn, I could still feel my goosebumps, thumbs up for that!

One thing that stood out in this story is the effort the serial killer put in just to reel in his prey, disguising himself as one of the good to earn the trust of Nicole, the female protagonist (I can't reveal the name of the sadistic character as I would have given away a HUGE part of the story). I have to say it takes patience to create the perfect set up, and of course the patience and passion of the author to write the story. I had came across thrillers that seemed a little bit too rushed and that just ruined the fun.

Despite the brutal murders taking place, Alaska has been warmer than I thought! It was easy to adapt to the community there especially when we are reading from Nicole's point of view. I sympathizes her because she came from an abusive background, my heart ached for her at how she was treated before, her dreams was crushed, not to mention her bones were crushed along by her terrifying ex-husband Ronald. On the other hand, I respected Nicole because she prioritizes her daughter above all, although I wish the story would feature her relationship with her daughter more.

As Nicole moved to Alaska, she met two amazingly dashing guys who are beautiful in their own ways. Another love triangle? Well, I would admit that I love this triangle more than I should, and I could not wait to see how it turns out. That must have said something huh? Dylan Richardson, being one of my favorite character plays an important part in giving Nicole back her confidence, and I started rooting for Brad at the end of the story. The teaser was a killer! I just have to start reading the next book right away!

Of course, Nicole's best friend, Emily was one of the biggest influence in her life, every character in the story shines! The author definitely made sure of that! Even the psychopath played his role well.

An amazing read! Moving on to next book immediately!

Right from the onset you feel connected to the story via the authors’ lovely descriptive writing, you can sense the anticipation & excitement of the characters, which draws you into the book further. The story evolves at a comfortable pace making sure that any ‘flash backs’ do not confuse the reader, nicely dropping back into the present storyline yet giving a perfect history & meaning for the characters’ feelings. You are given just the right amount of insight to follow the story without giving too much away so that you are eager to read the next chapter, making this a hard book to put down.
The love story itself is very well written and doesn't give anything away until just the right moments, you don’t feel like you can guess what is coming next with this one.
I found myself so ‘at one’ with the feelings of each of the main characters’, that my heart was beating from my chest at many points throughout. The thriller/suspense aspect is fantastic! I can only compare it too watching a movie where you want to shout “Run! Hide! Quick!” and duck yourself behind a cushion, but just can’t tear yourself away. I really don’t want to give any of the storyline away but I can say, the ending of The Impostor will make you pace the floor eager for the next instalment!

Review of “THE IMPOSTER”
New novel by Tiffany Carmouche

The Imposter is a well-crafted web of lives and friendship, of deceit and intrigue. Her characters interactions draw you in and keep your interest. The separate lives stories and interdependence the characters have with one another is a stunning piece of work. This novel will leave you spell bound, you will fall in love with some of them and learn to hate others… wonderfully written and a great read.

I loved this book... I think that Nicole is a very strong woman to be able to go through what she did and still have the strength to keep going and trying to make a better life for herself and her daughter. She is also very strong to have been able to resist Dylan for so long.. lol. I can definitely see why she is feeling an attraction to both men. I kept hearing that there are cliffhangers in all of these books and boy what a cliffhanger... lol.. I cannot wait to read the next one now. I started the book this morning and could not put it down and I am pretty sure I will be the same way with book 2. Thank you Tiffany for writing such a great book and leaving me in suspense... Good thing I already have book 2 and can dig right in! I would definitely recommend reading this book... :O)

VERY GOOD: The characteristics of a 4 star book include: a great story; I loved the characters; and there was an interesting plot and unique story elements; there may have been a few odd things kept the story from being amazing. I would read it again and I would recommend it to a friend.

My Thoughts:
This book provided by the author for an honest review.

The Impostor, A Love Story was a story about twenty-two Nicole Carlisle, a woman starting her life over in Alaska after a very tumultuous and abusive relationship with her daughter's father. Accompanied by her best friend Emily on her journey, they encounter one difficulty after another just trying to get to their destination -- including missing one flight and almost missing another. But, thanks to a kind soul, Bradley (aka Brad), the girls find their way on a sold out plane and begin their big adventure. During their flight, the girls are completely charmed by Brad because of his good nature and subtle sparks simmer between him and Nicole. But Nicole is hesitant to start a new relationship because of the dealings she had with her ex. Parting ways amicably from Brad, Nicole and Emily settle into their new home and look toward starting their waitressing job at the local watering hole. Expecting never to see Brad again, the girls are surprised to discover that he is their new boss. As time goes on, Nicole and Brad establish a nice working rapport the buds into a lovely friendship.

→ → Enter Dylan Richardson → →

Dylan is a hot and sexy guitarist for one of the bands that is playing at the bar where Nicole and Emily work. If sparks simmered between Nicole and Brad, they were almost nuclear between Dylan and Nicole. Every interaction between them was full of chemistry and mildly veiled attraction from Nicole but very overt interest and flirtation from Dylan. The two begin a sultry dance of "will they, won't they" and eventually, the "will they" wins out after steady pursuit from Dylan. Nicole allows her feelings for Dylan to deepen and learns to trust in love again.

But sadly, all is not quiet in Alaska. A serial killer is on the loose and he is the most diabolical of all kinds because he is disguised as a friend. Can they figure out who the imposter is before it's too late?!?!?

~•~

Overall, I enjoyed The Impostor, A Love Story. The premise of the story was interesting and I always appreciate a good romantic thriller. I absolutely loved Dylan. He was very sweet...very understanding...and very loving to Nicole and her daughter Jessica. I would have ripped him from the pages of my Kindle and taken him as my own if I could have. Unfortunately I had a love/hate relationship with Nicole though. Sometimes I really liked her character. She was a young woman trying to make her place in the world on her own terms. I could totally respect and appreciate that dimension of her personality. However, her naiveté grated on me at times. There were a few times when my Kindle was in peril of "Shaking Kindle Syndrome" because I was trying to shake some sense into Nicole. The clues to the serial killer were subtle but they were there for the reader to follow the trail. Nicole was totally oblivious to them though. I'm sure Nicole's portrayal was intentional by Ms. Carmouche but the girl barely escaped with her life because of it.

For those who enjoy high octane stories from beginning to end be prepared to appreciate a story with a slow build up. The action did not pick up until my Kindle was about at 60%. It was definitely a slower pace than I typically enjoy but the story was not unenjoyable. The Impostor, A Love Story. was a solid start to Carmouche's thrilling trilogy series. I mostly enjoyed everything about it........except the dreaded cliffhanger at the end.

Holy Mother Hell!!!

This book shocked the hell out of me. I am SO happy that I read it.

Tiffany - the way you write, it's amazing!!! You captivated me this entire day. I did not get any work done.

So, you have Nicole and Emily, two girls from the east coast who want to make a better life for themselves and for Nicole's 4 year old daughter Jessica. After hearing from a girl at the DMV, Nicole decides to talk her best friend Emily into moving to Alaska to work at a bar where they can make crazy money.

After missing their flight the girls are about to be stranded in the lower 48 until some sexy smooth talker helps then get a flight. Sexy smooth talker also happens to be the manager of the bar they are scheduled to work at in Alaska.

Now I know what you're thinking. Alaska? There isn't any thing sexy about Alaska. It's cold there and you can see Russia from your back yard and watch moose.

Well, that's where you're wrong. Alaska is HOTTTTT. Brad, I feel in love with him from the instant I 'met' him.

At the bar, they have a band. Sweet right. Dylan a member of the band, CRAZY HOTT!! I'm talking Christian Grey meets snow covered mountains, minus the BSDM. Right??!!?? I know.

OK, moving on....

So Nicole and Emily work in this bar with Sexy Smooth Talker Brad as the manager and CRAZY HOTT Dylan in the band. They also have this super HOTT friend Chris (he's my Alaskan Gideon, who is super mysterious and I LOVE it)

All is well and dandy and moving progressively until BAM! There is a murderer on the loose who is looking to kill girls that look JUST LIKE NICOLE.

After a few months in Alaska, Nicole moves her daughter to live with her in the basement apartment she rents a bar patron who she has grown comfortable with ...

Then there are some conflicting emotions .. Brad of Dylan .. Dylan or Brad .. oh hell, I wouldn't be able to choose!!!

This book has everything to keep you on the edge of your seat. Sexual Tension, TEQUILA, naieve girls, killers, suspense, crazy abusive ex boyfriends, dirty cops, SEX ON A STICK ...

I have already emailed Tiffany for BOOK 2 .. I need it now.

***CAUTION*** CLIFF

We totally give this book 5 our of 5 stars!!! Buy it NOW!!!

I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
At first, I wasn't sure if I would like this book because it's a romance novel, or so I thought. This book is so much more than just a romance novel. It is perfectly written. I was in tears at one point. Throughout the whole story I was on the edge of my seat, yelling (in my head) at the characters. You get a feel for who the villain is, but then they do something to redeem themselves so you think " No, they can't be evil". Then BAMM!! Shit goes down. Your now at the end of the book left with the biggest cliffhanger ever, and know you know that you should have trusted your gut the whole time. Luckily for me, I had book two sitting next in line.
As for the characters, I really liked Nicole because she is a young, single mother who escaped an abusive relationship and she is trying to give her daughter a great life regardless. At the same time, she pissed me off because if this book was a horror movie, Nicole would be the the one who goes into the haunted house even though there were signs and feelings not to. Dylan is the totally hot band God, who sleeps with every girl in sight. But he really surprised me the most. I really grew to like him, and it wasn't just for his god looks lol. I also really liked Brad, but I would have liked him better if he would have grabbed the bull by the horns right from the beginning instead of letting opportunity slip him by. But maybe by book two he will have grown some balls.
This is an awesome read for any bookworm as long as they are 17+ at least. There are some very graphic scenes. But this book was very well written and is defiantly a page turner. I'm so glad that I gave it a chance and I am starting book two as soon as I finish this review that's how bad of a cliffhanger it was.

Tiffany Carmouché really knows how to tell a story about adventure, love, obstacles and life of a single mother trying to break away. There are moments of laughter and moments of suspense. The friendships and character bonding throughout the story is amazing. I became completely wrapped up in this love story. The mystery of what was going to happen next as well as the heart felt touching moments of Nicole's journey to Alaska with her friend. There is only so much a woman can take when in an abusive relationship and it takes time to heal the broken heart. Trusting is not always the easiest thing to do when there are past burdens. Dylan takes that way and gains the trust of Nicole with his charm and chiseled body, who could resist.

I would recommend The Impostor, A Love Story to those that love romance, suspense and the mystery of it all. There were so many moments that I wanted tried to guess what would happen next and failed to be right and other times when I was right. I fell head over heals for Dylan and at times wanted nothing more than to be wrapped in his arms. I cannot wait to read the next book and will be holding my breath until then... A wonderful ending to an amazing book leaving me wanting more and impatiently waiting to read the first page of Obsession & Sacrifice.

The Impostor, A Love Story
The Alaskan Heart Saga #1

Full of romance, adventure and suspense, this book has a bit of everything and drew me in completely. Nicole is a strong character, and will do anything for her daughter, including moving to Alaska. Lucky for her, she has an amazing best friend willing to give up everything and move with her. Dylan is strong, sexy and such a gentleman – everything a girl could want. This was so much more than a love story, and with the many twists and turns, it kept me turning page after page to see if Nicole was going to survive her crazy stalker. I’m not one for spoilers, so can’t go into details or I’ll give away the ending, but this book is well written, has excellent character development (the characters really came to life), incredibly descriptive and so well thought out you will never see it coming. One thing I can say, you’ll want to start reading book two straight away.

I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I read the synopsis for Book3 and I thought, that this series might be something for me. And crap, I was sooooo right!
I started to read the first few pages and couldn´t wait to get back to Nicole and read what happens next.
And oh boy, the story was awesome - like a flower it blossomed more and more with each turned page. The package was complete - you had everything - fun, sweetness, adventure, creep, romance and thrill - a romantic thrill

The characters were true to the heart and some found their way straight to MY heart and some, well let´s say they´ve been different

From page one Tiffany Carmouche created a real pageturner, that I couldn´t put down - I even read through dinner
Her way of writing, narrating and describing was unbelievable - I felt like I was there in Alaska and with Nicole and her friends.

The cliffhanger, though, is really bad. I screamed: No! No! No! You can´t leave me like that!
You see, I want more - NOW. Can´t wait for Book 2

Wow so glad i waited until i could read this in one sitting, what a ride the author took me on. The were some very intense scenes that had me grabbing the edge of my seat then just as my heart stops pounding, another suprise or twist comes up that has my heart pounding again.Once you pick up this book you don't want to put it down then there is the cliffhanger, that at the end you have so many questions you want answered your dying to read the next one.
Nicole tries to learn from her mistakes and build a better life but things don't always go to plan for her and she has some suprises along the way but when needed she is a amazing, strong willed woman.
Dylan wow what a guy although wanted to smack him upside the head a few times and other times i wanted to melt*sigh*
Bradley was a great guy as well, very protective and caring.
Chris seemed like a great guy but there is alot of unanswered questions with him, hope to find out more

I picked up this book yesterday and started reading, I finished one night later. I must say that from the very first page you had me hooked Tiffany! So many things happened in this book that I did not expect and it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! I laughed out loud and cried. I loved Tiffany's writing. I could picture being right in the book with Nicole, the main character, and felt her love, laughs and heart ache like they were my own! I truly hope Nicole gets what she wants out of life and finds the happiness and peace she deserves so much! Thank you for a wonderful book. I cannot wait to start "Obsession & Sacrifice" this weekend. This book has so much more to it than romance, so if romance is not really your thing, but you like a suspenseful thriller, you will love this book!

The Impostor: Great storyline, identifiable characters and a plot that keeps you guessing and guessing. Just when I thought I had it figured out, at the end if the book, all I could say was, “Wow, that’s not what I was expecting!” A single mother moves to Alaska with her best friend to make a better life for herself and her daughter, but working in a bar can be tough, you never know who can trust. When it is revealed that there is a serial killer killing women who resemble her, Nicole starts to suspect everyone around her, and so does the reader. It seems like anybody could be the murderer, and just when you think you know who the Impostor is…there’s a twist! I found this to be a great read. This is a well written romance/mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole way through.

This is a fantastic book! This book has it all romance, mystery, suspense, and humor. I was hooked from page 1 and could not put the book down until I finished it. I could not wait to see what happened next, and had me wondering the whole time what was going to happen next. I loved all of the characters Nicole, Emily, Dylan, Brad and Chris. At the beginning of the book I was hoping that Nicole and Brad would get together, but at the end I want Nicole and Dylan to be together. I can't believe how the book ended with the cliffhanger,so now I can't wait to read the second book in the series.

I have to say I wish I would of read this book along time before now. Nicole is a strong woman who struggled through domestic violence. She's a woman who left to make a better life for her and her daughter, but at the same time had to do what every mother couldn't. What a Series it was like a bad addiction pulling you in to get your fix. I could not put it down. Tiffany definitely done a incredible job with the her first Series.

Holy mother of God! This book was phenomenal! A couple of times I wanted to hit Nicole over the head for being so oblivious, but I still loved her. Even though she continues to find herself in ridiculously terrible circumstances, she never felt like an annoying victim and that takes really skillful writing. I wish I could read it again for the first time, it was just so perfect!

I was asked to read and give this book an honest review.

Wow this book kind of left me stunned. Throughout some of it, I really wasn't sure what to think but when it all ended I was impressed with it.

We get to meet Nichole who is just trying to survive and live through a tough situation in life. I really connected with this character because I can honestly say that I once lived the same as she did. And like her I can proudly say I lived through it. I loved how strong she was through everything and how no matter what she never gave up. She was determined to make it her life and take care her daughter on her own. Yay! After an incident she realizes that she must leave and go and make a better life for her an Jessica. This decision takes her and her best friend Emily to beautiful Alaska. Where they both can make a fresh start. Just when she believes that she can do this for her and Jess with no worries and problems she is met with a roadblock. Well more like a mountain named Dylan. Swoon, Dylan. Dylan is in a band, and yes he is what you think. A hot cocky playboy who is with a new girl every night. But for some reason Nikki is drawn to him and no matter how many times she tells herself he is not what she needs in her life, she just can't seem to get him out of her head. But little does she know that Dylan feels the same way. I may have "awwwwed" a lot when I found this out. I fell totally in love with this man after all the stuff he did for her. The way he never let her give up and just his strong presence even made me feel safe. I am so considering moving to Alaska if all the men up there are like this lol. Does anyone know for sure?

Just when Nicole gives in to Dylan and finally moves Jessica up there to be with her, their safety is suddenly shattered by an unforeseen danger. Someone that she felt she could truly trust turns out to be something that your nightmares couldn't even come up with. After fighting for so long to survive, the biggest question is how will she ever make it out of this alive?

I am so telling you this book was definitely a heart stopper. Ugh, I couldn't put it down. I just kept thinking I know what's going on, I know who it is! Only to be totally surprised by the next page. There was a couple of spots that I kind of lost interest in but overall I was hooked. The characters were great and ohh the whole book, wow lol. The writing was great, I really like this author's style. When you pick this book up , please be sure to have some tissues and make sure to leave all the light on in the house. The end, oh the end. It just has my head spinning. I can not wait to read the next book.

*I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*

This was a surprising story. I'm not really a romance reader, but the author asked if I would read it for her tour and I can never tell a friend no.

I was really surprised! I instantly fell in love with the klutzy, accident prone main character Nicole. Her past is as jaded as my own and I found myself able to easily relate to her and her desire to give her daughter a better life.

I admit Dylan's reaction to Nicole came as a shock. Bradley's not so much.

I found no errors in this work, no formatting issues, everything flowed seamlessly.

The thriller part will definitely keep the reader on their toes even though it's obvious early on who the killer is.

The ending...The ending will without a doubt leave the reader wanting to know what happens next. I personally can not wait to read book 2

I give this book 5 of 5 paws

This book was week 6 book of the week for my book group and I was lucky enough to win a copy from the author to read and review.
**May contain some spoilers**
Now I think I should start by saying that I am not much of a contemporary/Romance reader, I usually like something paranormal, I can not really explain my reasons for this but I can speculate that it's just a bit more exciting for me and maybe it hits a bit to close to home for me. Now this is not to say that I have not or will not enjoy a romance novel, and this book was one I added to the list of ones I enjoyed.
The pace of this book was really good at the beginning and before I knew it I was halfway done, I will admit it hit a bit of a snag and I think it's because I knew with every fiber of my being right form the start that Steve was a sick, screwed up guy but Nicole was just to trusting, which I could just not understand, I mean I did sort of like her willingness to see the world through rose colored glasses, but I felt like after everything she had seen and the terrible things she had to endure I thought she should be a little more cautious about the people around her. I was so frustrated with her at times, I wanted to yell "pay attention, open your eyes" but I guess it just goes to show we all see what we want to see.
I was glad Nicole found Brad and Dylan and not just because they loved and protected her, but also for my own selfish reasons, because I had no problem imagining they were standing close or curled up on my couch next to me while I read. I must say heaven help me if I was faced with the decision between the two hotties, I'm really not sure I could do that, so I guess they would just have to fight it out.....shirtless lol.
I would like to continue on with this series and see if Nicole shows the growth I think she is capable of, also I want to get more time with the two hotties. I also learned from this book that I need to move to Alaska in the near future if this book is any indication then the whole place is full of tall, rich, and beautiful men, Nicole got two I think I might be able to wrangle up at least one.
I wish I had more to say but I think I have spoiled enough, so I'll just say get your copy today and buckle up for the ride!
